Beautiful and romantic. Loved the room amenities,,, and the gardens!

Great property. Food was ok. Staff was very helpful. Hot water for showers. Nice beach chairs and umbrellas to sit on the beach. The room walls/doors are thin. Could hear the lady next door taking on the phone and heard every word. Shampoo/soaps provided. Bed was comfortable. There were lots of kids in the pool always. Had a nice gym for the gym rats like myself! Would recommend.

Amazing! The service, the food, the room... everything. We were received with kindness and attention to every need could've possibly had. The owners were really sweet! About the rooms: we still think about the bed. It was so incredibly comfortable. Lovely view and the pool we had all to ourselves. Please don't miss the chance to book your stay here! You won't regret it.

Entrance is a bit difficult to find, on the left hand side down the lil street but everything else was amazing! From the rooms to breakfast and service! Love it!

The room itself was clean, but it was labeled as a partial ocean view room that is on the first floor about four feet from the parking lot, and the only way you could see the view is if you had the curtains open so that everyone saw into your room and if you were looking over the hedges to see the ocean. Otherwise, fantastic location, nice room, and enjoyed our stay. Plus the cleaning was phenomenal.

Our stay was wonderful. Not crowded at all. We felt as if we were the only ones there even though we weren't. The private dipping pool was amazing. There were also two other pools on the grounds. Plenty of hills and roads on hotel grounds for those of us who like to run. The rooms look exactly like the photos on the website. The chef will make your dish however you request it. Brian was a great host ! We were always able to communicate with him. He made sure we were comfortable with whatever we needed. Place was immaculate. Very modern. Love the royal blue decor. He definitely paid attention to detail. Room had everything you need. I would definitely consider staying there again on my next trip.

Good place to stay, relaxing, perfect

They need to pay attention to the little things. The curtain in our room was broken and would not close so as a result the morning sun would hit us right in the face upon sunrise. Most of the usb outlets did not work, the bathroom outlet was loose so if you tried to unplug your cable the complete outlet would come out of the wall, the furniture in the room was stained nasty looking. We loved our stay, swam at the beach and enjoyed strolling at sunrise. Angel got us checked in and settled quickly and when we created a problem Valerie helped out tremendously. Would love to come back. Only Negative: little refrigerator seemed to be stuck on defrost cycle.

I had a wonderful 5 night stay at Casa Islena. It is the cutest little inn, right on the beach. The pool and pool area are clean and a nice area to relax. The restaurant in the hotel (where we had breakfast every day) was good. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the property was well maintained.
