Brand New Mediterranean Oceanfront Condominium/Crashboat Beach

This lush and spacious two-bedroom condo beach escape is located in the exclusive Puerta del Mar condominium complex, a Mediterranean style development which sits majestically above sea level overlooking the spectacular Atlantic Sea. Our condo is comfortably located on the ground floor of the front-ocean buildings that overlook Crashboat Beach, a world famous sports and diving underworld Eden. So come and relax on a “hamaca” or sit by the terrace sipping a tasty tropical drink while enjoying the cool Caribbean breeze, and experience the most stunning sun set views of the island of “Desecheo”, Aguadilla Bay and the Mona Passage without having to move an inch.


Our apartment offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room area, family, dining room, fully equipped kitchen with modern stainless steal appliances and a spacious first floor front beach balcony. The impressive infinity pool that hangs over the cliff top is just a step away from the balcony of the apartment as are many other amenities offered at our condo such as gazebos, sun decks, and “miradores” from where you can take a closer view of the Atlantic Sea and the beauties that this West Coast Jewel has to offer.

A sophisticated yet comfortable tropical blue decoration stimulates your senses helping you and your guests/family to relax and enjoy your stay. The condo easily accommodates from five to six people. Our spacious and elegant master room provides a comfortable queen sized bed equipped with a Simmons Beautyrest pillow-top mattress, dresser with ample storage space and night table, walk-in closet, and private bath with separate vanity area.

The second room offers the guest a sturdy, double bed equipped with a lower full-size bed and twin bed on top. Both have comfortable Simmons mattresses. For the writer hidden in all of us wishing to record this dream vacation, our guest room offers a comfortable writing desk, displaying a full-size Puerto Rican tourist map offering relevant information. Both bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. The family room comes equipped with a 42” LCD TV, Blue Ray player, library of movies, and X-Box game console with a variety of games.

This condo offers its residents/visitors resort style amenities: two swimming pools (one infinity with a shared hot tub), outdoor showers, bathrooms, Jacuzzi, children’s playground, canopy spa beds for outdoor relaxing, and sundeck views where you can overlook the sea. In addition, there are two parking spaces per apartment, the security of 24/7 guards, plus remote gated entry. As you can see, Puerta del Mar is the haven that offers you and yours a safe and secure place to enjoy a stress-free vacation.

Awesome Family Vacation Location

We had an amazing trip to PR and this condo was perfect! Awesome location and very clean, well kept accommodations. The owners were great to communicate with prior to and during our stay, and everything about the property and amenities was perfect! The views speak for themselves and I will definitely miss having my morning cup of coffee overlooking the ocean from the patio.

Quiet neighborhood close to everything

My family came into town for a long Birthday weekend. We all had a great time at this house. Lots of space, comfortable quiet bedrooms, a big kitchen, big dining area where we had meals and played cards at night. I will definitely be renting this house again next year.

This is a beautiful property that the pictures (as good as they are) don't fully capture the location. We enjoyed our stay in July even though the temperatures were hot with high humidity, which we expected. The pool area is outstanding and well maintained. The condo is clean and laid out well. Perfect Girls Weekend!

The condo was everything that was advertised and more. We loved being on the ground level. The patio walked out to a grassy lawn with spectacular sunset views. The location is just three doors from the beautiful infinity pool. The condo was spacious and very clean..This was an easy transaction with the owners and the security deposit was returned in a timely fashion. Overall location is terrific - close to grocery and restaurants. I would highly recommend!!

Wonderful time at your place 🤗

This was our first time not staying at a regular hotel and we loved, loved, loved your place. It felt like home. The apartment is spotless, cosy and comfortable for a family of four. Walking to the pool was so convenient and the views...wow breathtaking. The location was perfect! Only 10min drive from Aguadilla's airport and 5min to one of the main highways in PR. On this trip I wanted to showcase the beauty of the southwest coast of my island to my kids and husband. Being able to stay at such a beautiful apartment made my job easier. Thank you Luis and Nanette for allowing us to stay at your place. We will definitely be back!

Perfect stay

We stayed for 2 weeks and had a wonderful experience. Luis and Nannette take pride in their condo and provide excellent customer service. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and always take notice of the little things that owners do to make you feel welcome. Upon arrival there were bottles of water, a bag of coffee and frosted mugs!!! When we couldn't figure out how to get the channel for the Super Bowl Luis was kind enough to come from San Juan and help us. Upon learning we were going to Ponce Nannette provided us with a helpful travel website. Thank you both and we look forward to staying with you next year.

Amazing Property

I have stayed in various apartments at this condo. The layout is similar in all of them except for the penthouse apartments. This apartment was spotless and well-maintained. The master bed was soft and excellent to sleep on. The second bedroom has bunk beds that are good for kids but not for adults if you are looking for support, and the top bunk can only handle about 100 pounds. The lower floor has easy access to the pool, the best view of the ocean, Desecheo Island, and a partial view of Crashboat Beach. I do love this property, and I will like to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful Condo

This apartment was beautiful and perfect for our stay. We had 4 adults, (Husband, Mom, Sister and myself). Everyone was very comfortable. We would have breakfast in the apartment and I made dinner twice during our stay. This made our vacation very convenient. Especially when we're too tired to look for a restaurant. The only thing the kitchen needed were bigger mixing bowls :) My mother would wake up before sunrise every morning and sit on the patio to watch the sky light up. She was very impressed with the view (and she is very difficult to impress). We used the pool once. It was then closed for four days for maintenance. It reopened the day we were leaving. Overall, our stay was perfect in this apartment. Thank you to the owners. :)

Amazing EVERYTHING!!

Our 10 nights stay at Puerta Del Mar - Unit 119 was just spectacular!! The unit was exactly as described at HomeAway. The location was perfect for us because the best beach in Puerto Rico was literally 5 minutes away (Crash Boat). The unit was so cozy and comfortable that our kids didn't even want to go out, unless it was to go to the Infinity Pool overlooking the ocean! Wow, BREATH TAKING! We enjoyed our morning coffee out on the patio in front of the unit with amazing views. I loved every day, hour, second we spent there! Nanette was super helpful and was available to answer any questions or concerns of ours. Big bonus about Puerta Del Mar is that it's a gated community and that made us feel extra safe! After our stay at Puerta Del Mar I must say that when we vacation again to Puerto Rico we will definitely stay here! There's so much to do in Puerto Rico but this time around we decided to enjoy some much needed R & R (rest and relaxation) at the beautiful condo. We did visit the beaches in Isabela, Rincon, and Aguadilla. ALL amazing. I love the island! What a blessing it was for my family to have had such a great vacation. We will have everlasting memories from this trip!! Don't take my word or it, GO experience it yourself :) You will never regret it! Difficult and inconsiderate hosts, choose another unit.

The hosts started telling us about all their rules and how to check out the week before our trip began. They promised to give our name to the guard but did not. On our way to find the unit I texted them and asked them for the building number and unit number, her response was “look it up in your lease”. Why she couldn’t just tell me I was trying to get past the guard, took us twenty minutes to get thru the guard because she couldn’t be bothered to make it easy on her guests. When we finally got in there are no keys to the front door, you have to walk all the way around to the back every day to get in. Then, there is no hot water because they didn’t turn the hot water heater on. Nobody got a hot shower until day two! They don’t want the electricity bill so who cares if the guests have no hot water upon arrival. There is a giant garbage can full of stagnant water and insects floating right in the front entrance, not disclosed in the listing, I know occasionally there may be a water shortage but to make your guests live with this is inconsiderate. We have stayed in other units at the same condo, many to chose from, and had none of these troubles. The cable didn’t work and the remote controls had no batteries, when we asked for batteries she had them delivered 36 hours later. The coffee maker was Horrible! On the last night the AC didn’t work in the master bedroom. The bunk beds in the guest bedroom are extremely uncomfortable, very hard and people had to take turns in the awful bed. These hosts should not be in hospitality as they put themselves ahead of their guests in every way. I sent her a text message and it took her two days to respond. On our last day we took the beach chairs to Surfers Beach and in one of the pockets were two packages of fentanyl, a schedule III narcotic! The host had us driving around with drugs in her chair! We caught her in lies also and the only thing she cared about was getting our Covid tests for herself, which the govt. mandates but most don’t make such a big deal about it. We are Premier Hosts ourselves and have been using VRBO for 20 years and have never experienced such inconsiderate hosts. You can do better, there are many units in this condo building for rent. The condo itself is fine, well staffed, good location, there is no hot tub though it looks like a hot tub but it isn’t. Beautiful pool and barbecue area, just don’t stay with these hosts they will bring your vacation down..
