"This is a great place, but there’s a couple of things you need to know before renting.First, if you can’t tell from the pictures, only the bedroom and bathroom are enclosed, the kitchen is completely open – no screens. That means bugs – it's Costa Rica after all. No mosquitoes, but beetles, flies, little flying things, and the occasional millipede. "This is a beautiful property and sits in the middle of the rainforest. It was easy to find. Very close to Nauyaca waterfall. You have to like the outdoors in order to enjoy a stay here as you can hear the noise from insects and other wildlife inside the bungalow during the night. We enjoyed our stay very much. "

"The house was very clean and quite comfortable. The kitchen needs additional basic cooking utensils. If you plan on eating out for your entire stay it won’t be an issue. Gourmet cooks will feel extremely frustrated and challenged."

After walking down the stairs, you see the most incredible rock house with built-in spa, open concept living/dining areas, and truly incredible bathroom with heated seat and great shower. We loved spending family time together in this memorable location. If we had more time, we would have enjoyed hanging out in the gazebo over the river. Very excited to return someday."
