"This was a nice place. Nice bedrooms. The beds were a little hard for our old bodies but still nice. The blinds on both patio doors were broken so i didn't want to mess with them much. We could still go in and out the upstairs patio door because that blind was open. It was nice and peaceful. My grandson who just turned 5 came over for a couple hours and he had fun fishing on the dock. We managed to find places to go to eat. We had a nice relaxing time."

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay while celebrating our son's HS Graduation nearby in Park Rapids. We had plenty of space and the home has a wonderful layout of bedrooms and shared living spaces. The walkout basement was a great place for the kids to play games and get away from the adults. The house is well furnished and contains all the kitchen necessities. I appreciated using the gas grill on the deck throughout our weekend. The beach area is an easy walk and not hilly like nearby neighbors. There are many watercraft items available for use such as kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boats, as well as life jackets. The fire pit area in the backyard is great for a night time gathering. The property is peaceful and private. We absolutely enjoyed Tom & Laura as hosts and will be planning another summer visit. Thank you! "

"We love this place! Cozy, cute cabin. We enjoy sitting on the deck watching the loons, geese and ducks with the babies. The sunsets are beautiful! A great place to get away and relax."

"Friendly, caring, respectful, enjoyable atmosphere. An elegant breakfast at a common table facing the lake. We went to MN to visit an ailing friend, whose condition worsened on our arrival. We weren’t able to see him until our last (3rd) night (at the hospital), but we were physically, mentally and spiritually fed and comforted by our wonderful hosts, Gary and Sandra. We also thank the otters in the lake for their entertainment."
