"We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. Our initial experience was less than ideal: we were being accommodated in their older building, on the first floor just above the restaurant where the DJ, music, and loud guests guaranteed a good level of noise until 11:45pm the first night. When we complained about that, the management was super helpful, moving us for the remaining 4 nights to an upper floor in the newer circular building facing the other direction (with a wonderful view to the mountains). This room was much more modern. We used the hotel sauna twice - basically a full modern spa department just for the two of us; apparently the other guests didnt’t think sauna is a good idea during summertime, but coming from Finland, we know better. Parking was easy in the garage, if not cheap. Breakfasts are plenty and good quality. My score of 5/5 is based on our overall experience and certainly the very helpful service from the management. Thanks for making our visit pleasant and memorable!"

"I added this hotel at the last minute and I was glad I did! Where some hotels you must check in by 6p, Der Reschenhof allowed checking in as late as 11p. Made a huge difference to my plans and the hotel was wonderful! Polite staff, quick check in, great room, free parking, and breakfast was included. Would come back again!"

"Excellent hotel/spa resort. Very nice indoor and outdoor pools; comprehensive spa and relaxation facilities, wonderful location out of the touristy path. Hotel is in excellent condition, very well maintained and very well equipped."

"Absolutely beautiful place to stay, close enough to cities where you can easily get in and out but be away from the hustle and bustle! Very great host too ! "

"Just unpleasant. No one at reception for 10mins, so went to find someone. No reservation, blamed Expedia. Gave me old room with dirty balcony that adjoined another room and the people came out and looked in my room as I was in bed. Tourist bus of people ate everything at breakfast and nothing much replenished - no pastries. Bike room left open by someone, so no security. Happy to leave."

"Some really good parts: kids club, pool, ski school, horse rides for kids. All great. But two big downsides. Firstly, it seemed like they were trying to squeeze every penny out of us, like a budget airline would. The all-inclusive was not really - you had to pay for coffees at lunchtime for instance - and staff would come over and try to upsell. Same with alcohol: all had to be paid for as extra, and staff were trying to flog it as soon as we sat down. It makes the place feel a bit cheap and money-grabbing. It was so odd for these things to not be included in all-inclusive. Very different to other all-inclusive places I’ve been in the past. Then one other thing: it’s the first place I’ve stayed since at least the pandemic that didn’t have a smart-TV. Most people are there with their kids, so have to stay in the room from relatively early each evening, so the very old-fashioned TVs are not ideal - this would be such an easy thing to upgrade. Also, there were some really odd design things. There is a baby monitor system, but it attaches to the phone line, and the phone socket is in the adults’ room not the kids’ room. So weird. And if we had wanted to watch TV, it was mounted on the wall of the children’s room. Such a bizarre place to put it as it’s going to wake light-sleeping kids up. Literally anywhere else in the room would have been better. So yeah. Some really good bits, but I don’t think I would recommend to friends as the above downsides took the polish off. "
