Keskiverto hotellikokemus

Hotelli sijaitsi kauniilla ja rauhallisella paikalla, jonka lisäksi eläinpuisto ja FlowPark olivat kirjaimellisesti hotellin vieressä. Ainoa kehittämisen kohde hotellissa on sen 70-luvulle jäänyt tunnelma, joka näki ja haistoi käytävillä sekä huoneessa. Pinnat ja huonekalut kaipaisivat remonttia ja uudistusta. Muuten hotelli ja sen huone olivat siistit. Eksoottista oli myös kallio, joka on rakennus vaiheessa jätetty koristamaan hotellin käytäviä. Lisäksi iso plussa oli huoneessa oleva ilmalämpöpumppu. Se pelasti yöpymisemme. Vaikkakin päivät eivät tuolloin vierailumme aikana olleet mitenkään erityisen kuumia, oli ilmalämpöpumpusta iloa ja tulee se pelastamaan varmasti helteillä todella monen reissulaisen yöpymisen.

Epäsiisteys pihoilla näin pitkällä keväästä ei näytä hyvää tilannetta. Seittejä, lehtiä kulkuovien edessä. Ravintola tyhjä, silti odotusaika jo pöytiin pääsyssä kohtuuton. Medium pihvi olikin kypsä. Aamupalassa parantamisen varaa. Yksi mehukone kerää jonoa ja valikoima hyvin suppea. Hedelmät puuttuu, herkkuina keksi. Karjalanpiirakkaa tarjotaan ilman munavoita jne.

Kuvissa mainostetaan kovasti kylpylää, joka olikin lisämaksullinen - kuin myös pelkkä saunassa käynti. No, se on ok, mutta sauna oli pihan toisella puolella. Saunan jälkeen oli aika kylmä kyyti kävellä 50m ulkosalla. Mielikuvien ja todellisuuden välisen eron takia pari tähteä pois.

Kokemus oli ristiriitainen. Kaksi ensivaikutelmaa: upea näkymä parvekkeelta ja huoneesta järvelle auringonlaskun suuntaan ja toisaalta huoneessa sisällä todella ummehtunut haju, huono huoneilma. Hotelli sijaitsee upeassa ympäristössä ja on aikanaan ollut arkkitehtuuriltaan erikoinen ja upea. Hotelli on vanha, ja se näkyy rakenteissa. Positiivista oli ystävällinen henkilökunta, mahdollisuus käydä aamu-uinnilla viereisessä uudessa uimahallissa, aamiainen oli hyvää perustasoa.

Hotellia ei ilmeisesti ole juurikaan koskaan päivitetty, sisustus oli yleisilmeeltään vanha ja nuhjuinen. Näkyvää likaa oli jonkun verran, etenkin huoneen kylppärissä/wc:ssä. Myös käytävillä oli joitain roskia, tyhjiä tölkkejä ym. Aamiaiselle mennessä ajattelin, että toivottavasti hygieniataso ei ole sama keittiössä kuin mitä se oli huoneessa. Aamiainen oli kuitenkin ihan kelpo, vatsa tuli täyteen. Henkilökunta oli kaikialla mukavaa, iloista ja ystävällistä, siitä iso plussa.
