"Lovely hotel in a great location by the Mediterannean but with an easy stroll into the city restaurants before and after dinner. We're booking again for Spring 2026 and this time I plan to use the Spa as well as the lovely outdoor pool!"

"It was a lovely big room and comfy beds with a balcony. I wish it had a fridge and coffee facilities as there's plenty of room and that would be a great asset for customers. As for breakfast if we'd paid the £10 it would not be worth it BUT wether it was a blip or special deal we got it for £3.00 a couple and then made it well worth it. I would stay here again. "

"We only stayed at Hotel Areca for one night before we flew home from Alicante airport. The room was clean, spacious & comfortable. We had a separate toilet to the bath & sink area. There was a fridge with water & beer (to buy), a safe, and adequate wifi. Staff checking in & out were very pleasant. There is plentiful parking around the streets & also there is a piece of waste ground opposite the entrance to the hotel where you can also park. There’s a couple of restaurants outwith the hotel walking distance (none were open before 7.30pm/8pm - same as hotel restaurant), If you’re looking for an earlier dinner, there are McDonalds/Burger King about 10 mins drive past Torrellano open all day/night. The airport is a stones throw away, we drove there in about 7 minutes max. Would highly recommend Hotel Areca. "

"Very clean hotel , good sized room and comfortable bed. Reception staff friendly and allowed early check in and a delayed checkout after the Alicante half marathon. Good Buffett breakfast. "

"Great kitchen space although could have been useful to have a toaster & kettle. We had to boil water on the hob for hot drinks. A great laundry room in the apartment for washing and drying. "

"Lovely lobby and entrance, room was spotless! Breakfast was great, lots to choose from! Location is great with bus stops close by to take you to the city centre. Beach is 10 mins walk, lovely long stretch witg beautiful views! Really impressed and would return!"
