"The Chateau is stunning, our check in was very good and our room lovely. However, to be clear, although it's marketed on websites such as Hotels.com, it is not a hotel in the traditional sense. There is no service provided at all apart from an average, 'self serve' breakfast. The photos we saw online of beautiful pastries unfortunately did not materialise. "The hotel was pet friendly, which was important to us. The room was nice and clean but unfortunately it didn’t have air conditioning and the weather was very hot. The restaurant in the hotel was closed the night we stayed there but it was close to a very nice one within sight of the hotel which was recommended by the owner. The breakfast was very good the following morning."
