"We stayed for a week and were very impressed after reading some, not so good earlier reviews, however all became clear as this hotel is now under new ownership. Hotel is on the main strip and only a 5 minute walk to Jandri lift, rooms were clean, comfy bed nice bathroom good choice for breakfast and has a sauna and hot tub as a nice little bonus after a day on the slopes. Staff/ owners were really friendly and explained to us they had recently taken over the running of the hotel having made lots of changes and improvements, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend "

"Alain the owner is what turned the whole experience into a gem. He made an incredible gratin à la dauphinoise and entertained us and took care of me and his other guests whom I befriended because of him. So loving and lovely. "

"Staff was exceptionally helpful. While I had a hard time knowing where to park, once I got to the reception area staff provided the pass for free parking and gave me instructions on how to reach the appropriate lot. Location is exceptionally good. The hotel itself is quiet but I could not put that in the rating because the night I was there, there was loud music two blocks away that went on until 23h on a Thursday night. Not the property’s fault. Many restaurants were busy and I highly recommend reservations for dinner. "

A true test was a mix up with booking numbers via the Expedia system meaning our room had been assigned to someone else on arrival - the team handled this efficiently and fairly and couldn’t be more apologetic despite it being out of their control. "Didn’t realise we’d stayed here before until we arrived. Views are stunning from terraces of the living room and first floor bedrooms. All rooms very comfortable. Quality bathrooms. Refurbed kitchen has lots of everything. Number 2 bus right outside for whenever you don’t fancy the short walk to centre. "
