"The room and breakfast included itself was fine. However, the check-in process was absolutely terrible. There was no one manning the desk and they had a machine for a self-check in, but we weren’t given the right reference number so everytime we tried, our reservations were not found. We called for help eventually and after 40 minutes of trying to check in for 2 rooms, we eventually got to the bedrooms and only then we received the correct reference numbers to use for check in. What was the point? Surely we should’ve received that prior to checking in. Not great overall. "

"I made a reservation for a family room seven months in advance as this was our forth visit to this hotel. I checked in online and there was no change to our booking. Upon arrival we were told that there had been a technical issue and our family room wasn’t available???? There was no apology or further explanation we were just put in two separate rooms which obviously wasn’t what we booked! Or how we wished it to be! We are more than disappointed and doubtful we will return again. "

"We stopped here for one night on the way to the Alps. It was excellent. The staff were genuinely exceptional. They were there for us for a very late check in (02:00) and smiling as if it was mid afternoon. The beds were really comfortable and massive. We were four in one room and there was plenty of space. Then breakfast was really nice. Simple but well done and the lady in charge just super helpful. We left with the impression that they really care. That’s increasingly rare these days. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us. "

"The room was cold. Even setting the heater to full fan and 30C didn't help much, and the fan was too loud to leave on overnight anyway. The shower didn't drain properly and the sink plug leaked. Orherwise, the bed was comfortable and the breakast was fine. Decent location just off the autoroute with a number of restaurants nearby."
