"This house is situated brilliantly for a rural holiday in France with great local towns, a near lake and lots of choice for restaurants within a short drive. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in le Mas. The gite was well equipped and comfortable with some extra touches such as the welcome provisions. We cooked most nights and found everything we needed in the small but perfectly formed kitchen. Pasha and Rod were the perfect hosts and made us feel welcome from the start to the end of our stay. "The gite was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool and garden area was amazing and our teenagers would have happily spent all day, everyday in there. Location is remote, a car is a must. We also hired bikes but found the area very hilly so you need to be fit! Nearest town is Ambazac which is lovely with shops, a couple of bars and places to eat. "This place is great. When we booked the Gîte, we didn’t realize the place has camping and glamping sites, too. We look forward to going back in the warmer months to try them out.
