"The room and communal areas were spotless. We didnt use the spa or breakfast facilities so can't comment on those. Our only regret was that we didn't go for a room with a view and had a room at the back which faced the wall and was a bit dark. Also, would be great if the skybar was open a bit later and was a bit bigger as it did get crowded and the bar downstairs wasnt open. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel has a fantastic location for exploring Bilbao."

"This was a beautiful hotel in the heart of Bilbao! Right on the water and across from the Guggenheim. It was an instant wow when we walked in, and the staff was amazing! The terrace is gorgeous with great food and wine. Definitely worth every penny and we would highly recommend!"

"The staff was friendly and sometimes have helpful, depending on who you would get. The self parking garage is pretty tight, so don’t take a big car in there. The hotel is central to the south part of the city, which is useful depending on where you’re going. This is kind of an odd duck hotel because I think it’s ready to four-star, but it could really easily be a three star and it’s definitely not a five star. The rooms are definitely outdated, but not inconvenient or dirty. The shower is really good, which is a huge plus. I wouldn’t stay there again and I try a different hotel in the city, but it’s not terrible for the price."
