Today I went for a 2 hour hike at Greenwood Conservation Area in Ajax. It was nice to get one more hike out of Ontario before I move.

This park offers a leash free area for dogs, consists of about 5 to 6 trails with the longest one being 2.3 KM.

There is an excellent River that runs through the park and the trails are pretty well marked although it's easy to get off them without realizing it.

There are several areas to park but the main parking is off of Wesney Road.

Parking is free and there is no cost to get into the park.

Super clean, lots of picnic areas, a small playground is located in the park and lots of dogs wow!

You will make a lot of furry friends here lol!

"The place is very good. Private, cute and secured. The host is pleasant and popped by to say hi. The kitchen is provided with full size fridge, gas, microwave, oven. Place is nicely staged and clean. The place is very close to the Pickering beach to enjoy your stay. The place has great covered patio. I stayed with my child and would prefer to stay at this place again."

"The home is huge with a lot of space. Beds are comfortable and many bathrooms to accommodate everyone. There are restaurants, grocery store, and other businesses within a 5 minute walk. "
