"My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon looking for something more remote but still upscale and romantic. Our experience was good, the highlight was the helpfullness of the staff, who greeted us warmly and left us a small welcome gift as a token on our honeymoon.
Both the best and worst part of this hotel is its proximity to world famous Playa de Sotavento. On the one hand it creates for some spectacular views and experiences; the view of the ocean from the infinity pool is one of the most remarkable I have ever experienced, and within a 3 minute walk you can rent kite/wind surfing gear and in another 2 minutes you can be in the ocean. On the other hand, the lagoon breeds all kinds of gnats and mosquitoes, so our enjoyment of the room & amenities was limited to when it was windy enough to ward off the bugs. The room, although clean and romantic, smelled a bit musty, due to maybe drainage or ventilation issues.
The breakfast buffet was tasty and comprehensive, and although we did not try the restraunts for lunch or dinner, we can say it's a short 5-10min drive from some very good restaurants in town. The drinks and service at the pool were lacking, the QR codes at our table didn't work, the bartenders were unsure if they had the ingredients required for our order, and the ultimate quality of the drinks was significantly below what we expected.
Overall we had a positive experience, even if it was a big more rugged than exptected. A 3.75 star hotel with 5 star views."
"A lovely stay. Bungalow 1063 is really nice. I marked it down a little as the terrace door wouldn't lock and the main light in the living area flickered a lot. I did report these faults. I was told someone would be round to fix them within 20 mins. After an hour I rang reception to chase this up and then 5 mins later someone came to fix the issues. Beautiful sunrises from the terrace! Very spacious bungalow. I slept very well. Staff at reception were okay. I don't feel they went out their way to welcome me. I had to ask for directions to the pool, ask about payments at bars etc (I was self catering). Nothing was really forthcoming coming. The map to find my bungalow was very clear. Maintenance work was going on by the pool when I was there so opted to sunbathe at the beach instead. Access to the beach is great. Sangria at the pool bar is ok, no food snacks offered which was disappointing. La Perlita on the beach is fabulous."
"The hotel was nice, modern and the pool, restaurants and bars are pretty good. Entertainment staff worked hard, as do the housekeeping staff, good variety of food and drinks.
There seems to be a lack of toilets though... for either of the pools, Breeze bar or Pala Santo restaurant, you need to go into the hotel itself and there is one set of toilets for the entire downstairs area, day and night."
"So the facilities (breakfast, pool, access to beach etc) are all really good. Staff were excellent, as was the evening entertainment. The place does look good on the surface, but then you see it needs some TLC: pool ladders need fixing, elevators got stuck, sink plug lets water through, towel hooks spin around, finishing in disrepair etc. But on the whole it’s okay, and the location is very good w.r.t. local shops, bars restaurants etc. And for an extra €30/€50 they can extend check-out to 3.00 or 5.00 PM."
"Very good. Much nicer rooms than expected. Felt like on check in we weren’t told some information like restaurant closing days and pool towels but generally very good"
"Room was good, junior suite had added bonus of sun loungers on the balcony.
Lunch was generally best meal of day, breakfast ok, but evening meals seemed a bit poorer as per other comments. That said, we always found something to eat and never left hungry."
"We are extremely happy with our stay at this hotel. The service was outstanding, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the ladies at the reception, who were always kind and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and there was a great variety to choose from. The snack bar also offered an excellent selection throughout the day. The hotel is located right next to a beautiful beach with direct access from the resort, which was a huge advantage.
Our room was modern, spacious, and spotless, just like the entire resort. Everything was kept exceptionally clean.
We would especially like to thank the staff for their outstanding care and kindness. We were travelling with insulin and needed to freeze the cooling packs for our travel container. After asking if this would be possible, they went above and beyond by bringing a refrigerator with a freezer compartment directly to our room. This thoughtful gesture made our trip so much more comfortable, and we truly appreciated it.
This hotel is perfect for families with children. There are plenty of activities, including a foam party in the children's pool, a large inflatable obstacle course in the pool, daily entertainment, mini golf, a padel court, a beach volleyball court, a football pitch, outdoor barbecue events, and many other attractions.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday."
