Hampton Inn Akron-South
8/10 Good
"Have stayed at this Hampton twice w/in a few months. Both times the pool was so cold I could not swim, or even do my water exercises. The object of my pool use is to loosen my joints and make them feel better, not to freeze them up more. There was no hot tub available or I would have used that. I shared my concern with the front desk worker, who stated she had requested the water temperature be raised previously, but nothing had been done. I will not stay here again."
Holiday Inn Express Akron NW - Fairlawn by IHG
8/10 Good
"The hotel is very clean and updated. The room was comfortable and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just okay. They are open during the week from 6:30-9:30. We arrived at 9am for breakfast and everything was mostly gone with nothing being refilled at that time. Yet breakfast should be until 9:30 and I feel like the food should be replenished until the end of the designated time. Also, there was no yogurt in the refrigerator. The coffee machine was being cleaned and difficult to get a cup of coffee at 9am."
