Wow!!! If you are looking to relax in nature this is the place. The hosts and staff were amazing making sure our every need was met including getting a Drs appointment for my son. They would also prepare us meals on request. At night you can enjoy the fire by the cenote with the glowing lights inside the caves. During the day the birds are very entertaining we even spotted a toucan. Honestly we can’t say enough about this heaven on earth. We will definitely be returning next year.

We stayed at the Tan Ik Condos for 8 nights in November (we booked 9, but stayed overnight midweek elsewhere). It was an absolutely amazing stay! The staff onsite during the days were incredibly friendly and hard working. Both the rooms and the grounds were well taken care of. The beach area, while being small, is very private and beautiful. My husband and I came to Akumal Bay for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved our stay! The service was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We would absolutely come here again and plan to do so in the future. I highly recommend having a photo shoot done with their on site photographer Conrado who is amazing at what he does and I am SO GLAD we got these pictures to commemorate our special time here.

Great place to stay if you want easy, clean LARGE unit. Stocked kitchen makes it easy to save and cook meals. Large deck with table and hammocks overlooking the ocean and stairs to the beach isn't too shabby. 2 pools (1 adult and 1 kid) are very nice and there's a quiet, secluded beach right in front of you. Sea turtles nesting all over the beach. Great snorkeling in front of hotel and about a 15 min walk down the beach. Definitely a place to go if you want the "opposite of Cancun" experience.

Lovely resort! Visited for a week in Jan. with our kids (21, 19, 15) and enjoyed our stay. We did two rooms to better accommodate and give space and that worked well for us. We did junior suites. One room the air conditioning was plenty cold and comfortable and the other was a bit warm and humid feeling but still fine for sleeping in and that's all we did in the rooms. We probably could have asked for maintenance but didn't feel it was that necessary. Rooms were clean and in great condition....

The TRS Yucatan was part of a larger group of related hotels on a very large beautiful beach and jungle property. The butlers at our villa, especially Emilio, were very welcoming and helpful as we oriented ourselves to the many facets of the resort. The transportation cart service was quick and the drivers very friendly.....though by following the seaside/beach everything was also very walkable. Food was excellent....green juice at Helios was my favorite!
