"Wonderful stay with breathtaking views overlooking Akureyri and the surrounding mountains. The hotel is modern, spotless, and very peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring North Iceland. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully designed, and Tor who greeted us wonderfully was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with fresh local options. Best strawberries and croissants we ever had. Forest Lagoon is around the corner so it’s a big plus. Also many dining options in the town which is only 5 mins away. Only problem you may have is that icy roads- especially the hill. Parking is plenty and free. A hidden gem with an amazing atmosphere — highly recommended."

"Hate having no fridge. Might be a iceland thing but its annoying. I have stayed in a couple of cabins here with fridges so that might be a better option next time. I woulnt stay here again. Even though i turned the heater off it made a noise like a shower running which woke me a couple of times. I also like soad holder/ shelf in the shower to put my soap as im not a fan of bodywash. Little things are what singles a hotel out from others and this one missed the mark for me."

"I booked a triple room with Expedia and the listing says: three twin beds. Hotel Kea gave me: two twin beds and a sofa bed... If i wanted a sofa bed i could have booked anywhere else... When we told Hotel Kea our rooms were incorrect they said there was nothing that they can do. Maybe there was some sort of miscommunication between Expedia and Hotel Kea. But if you were to book a hotel, why take the risk? I recommend you book elsewhere and save yourself the trouble."

"Our bedroom had a wall view but it was beautiful remodeled. The lounge and the breakfast buffet were amazing with a wide variety of options. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Beds are insanely comfortable. Rooms are small, but had everything we needed. A bit loud by the street and toilet paper was almost out, but otherwise a solid stay! Great value and experience."

"Very comfortable 2-day stay at Centrum Hotel. My room was clean and everything worked they way it is supposed to. Although I didn't have an opportunity to eat or have a drink there, the downstairs bar looked very inviting."
