Really friendly place located on a quiet road about 6km from the waterfalls and God's Bridge. The views from the terrace are amazing, out across the valley. Was easy to get a lift up to Akchour from there.

Refreshing, charming, and helpful

I really enjoyed my stay, and extended from 5 nights, to 6 nights. The location was ideal for Chefchaouen and for getting to Ackchour. The village itself was charming, and interesting, and ideal for mountain gazing, walking, talking to women baking bread, and for tasting the local tajine, which is far better than anything I have tasted during my time in Tangier. The staff at the refuge were helpful, friendly and efficient. A big thank you to all at Caiat.

No air conditioner, extremely warm inside, and can't sleep during the night No kitchen and fridge or freezer available I felt unsafe during the night, I was sitting in the chair outside with no light when I noticed someone looking into our window, I tried to talk to him but he ran away, I did reclaim that to the staff but they said maybe someone lost the way
