Our family greatly enjoyed the convenience of Empire Hotel. The highlights were: 1) excellent location (scenic, near Central Park and lots of restaurants, convenient access to coffee & shops, etc.), 2) rooftop pool gave our kids a great afternoon option on a super hot lazy day, 3) the staff was kind and responsive. Noting that our room phone did not connect to the front desk (always a busy signal when I pressed the front desk button), but I just called the hotel number from my cell phone and got thru there. Overall I would highly recommend!

The room conditions are miserable, there are fungus stains in washrooms and corners or the room. Space is very limited, i too king size room still the space is so small that you can barely walk inside the room.

Love the location and the room size. They're very hospitable and even have discounts for local shops with your stay. Close to everything! Already booked my next stay with them.

The room was spacious, but the full-size beds were quite small and definitely not queen-sized. Be aware there's a mandatory property fee that requires you to spend over $40 per day at the hotel, which ended up making our stay more expensive than choosing a lower-priced hotel. The hotel is in a great location. We especially enjoyed The View restaurant on the 48th floor—amazing city views.

Room was spacious. I like that they had a fridge with a freezer. The only thing i disliked was when I sat on the toilet, the front of my left knee was touching a wall. I'm 5'6, 160s. Any taller, I would have to sit diagonally.
