Oryx Airport Hotel

"The room was very well equipped and very clean. Really comfortable and well placed for a rest on a long layover at Doha airport. The swimming pool is an added bonus and it was fun to have a swim in the airport! Robes and slippers are provided as well. Very minor complaint but it would have been nice to have some decaffeinated coffee or tea available in the room as a lot of people don't want to have caffeine in order to get some sleep. ( I can't have it for medical reasons) I did ask at reception but they said none available. I usually bring my own but had packed it in my main suitcase."

"Nice hotel - a little dated decor but immaculately kept. Kind of sad due to lack of guests but fantastic value for money due to now out of the way location - just order an uber!"

"Great hotel resort - principally because of the quality of the staff. They cannot do too much for you and it made our stay quite wonderful. It'd be great if you could fix the lighting in the club rooms - you shouldn't need 10 mins to plan turning a light on and off - it's way too complicated. That sound - the club is a great thing to do - afternoon tea and evening cocktails are a great experience. We'll be back. Special mention has to go to Shaira, Charisse, Satt, Sandy and Obi in the club lounge are wonderful - we loved being with you."

"Our stay in Souq Waqif during hot summer months prior to an African safari was great! The Souq has an authentic feel to it and is immediately adjacent to Museum of Islamic Art and Museum of Qatar which were fascinating. Hot daytime temperatures made outside activities uncomfortable, A quick taxi ride to museums or shopping provided good use of our days. Evenings were magical. The Souq comes to life with hundreds of tiny shops and tourists from all over the world. The Main Street where Tivoli Boutique Hotels are located is air conditioned! Vents direct cool air up into the street making a delicious promenade and outside dining opportunity for everyone. Restaurant at facility was excellent and we enjoyed Al fresco dining both nights. Rooms were spacious and very reasonably priced. We felt closer to the Arab world and a more authentic experience."
