Wij hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad in finca la fronda. Het is eigenlijk een groot landhuis met gastenkamers. En die kamers zijn echt reusachtig. De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Elke avond wordt er een heerlijk 4 gangen diner geserveerd, waarbij rekening wordt gehouden met wensen. Éen keer in de week is er een gezellige avond met zang en diner. Voor het ontbijt wordt iedereen verzocht een online formulier in te vullen, zodat het prompt de volgende ochtend geserveerd wordt. Wij hebben prachtige wandelingen gemaakt in de omgeving, aan te bevelen voor natuur liefhebbers. Het hotel heeft een uitstekende prijs kwaliteit verhouding

Schönes Hotel in Traumlage! Exzellenter Service!

Liebevoll gestaltet mit so persönlichem Service, dass eir gerne länger geblieben wären. Wir fühlten uns von Beginn an swr wohl. Sehr geräumige Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Die Hahre sind zwar nicht komplett spurlos am Hotel vorüber gezogen aber dank der Aufnerksamkeit der Eigrntümer Ctistina und Alec und der Liebe zum Detail, fallen Kleinigkeiten nicht ins Gewicht. Sehr gutes und leckeres Frühstück! Die Umgebung und die Lage ded Hotels sind ein Traum!

Maravillosa experiencia

Estancia maravillosa, un oasis de relax y tranquilidad para desconectar en plena naturaleza. Sensacional trato por parte de Alec y Cristina, propietarios del hotel. Magnífica la experiencia de "cenando canciones" con el espectáculo de Oscar Rivilla. Ninguna pega a toda la estancia. Nos fuimos con ganas de permanecer más tiempo.

Buscábamos tranquilidad y sosiego y el lugar encajó a la perfección. El alojamiento está en el alto de un cerro con vistas al pueblo de Alájar y a la Peña Arias Montano con excepcionales vistas. El acceso al alojamiento se realiza desde la carretera HU-8105 desde donde una señal nos indica un camino cuesta arriba entre alcornocales que nos lleva hasta la casa. Debido al momento que estábamos pasando (covid-19) las medidas sanitarias obligaban a que los desayunos no estuvieron a la altura de lo que esperábamos. Encontré falta de mantenimiento de las zonas ajardinadas, (césped, plantas). A la piscina de igual forma, le faltaba un poco de mantenimiento. Eché en falta papeleras en todo el recinto lo que obligaba a llevar una simple lata vacía de refresco hasta la habitación y tirarla allí. La limpieza de la habitación era a diario, excelente. El colchón muy bueno y enorme. La llave que nos entregaron que abría el acceso a las zonas comunes para poder tomar un café o permanecer en el Salón no abría, lo que nos impidió disfrutar de todo lo que ofrecía el establecimiento En resumen, aunque el alojamiento tiene pequeñas carencias que se pueden corregir fácilmente, nuestra estancia fue muy agradable. Beautiful setting and the perfect city escape!

The Finca is perfectly situated to easily get around the Sierra de la Aracena. The place itself is beautiful and very calming. It feels quite intimate yet comfortable and Cristina and Alec are wonderful hosts. They arranged a number of day trips for us to a ham producer and mushroom foraging and Alec is a fantastic chef so be sure to try dinner there!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time at this fantastic finca. The evening meal, cooked by Alex was delicious and the breakfast very tasty.The bedrooms were very large and the bed was big and very comfortable. The views from the terrace of the restaurant were stunning and the location, high up in the mountains was perfect.

The hotel is situated in a magical setting, high in the mountains with fabulous views. Excellent large room, lovely dining and sitting rooms (with log fire on chilly evenings) and outside patio. We were warmly greeted by Alec, also a talented chef, and Charles was a delightful host. Homemade jams and marmelades, quince jelly and yoghurt, water from the well - thoroughly recommended for a special holiday.

Understated and welcoming, with great food!

We loved our two nights at Finca La Fronda. It is in a lovely, secluded spot with long distance views. The location is perfect for walkers, as there is an extensive network of trails accessible direct from the hotel The welcome at Finca la Fronda is very personal from Christina and her brother Alex (and father, Charles). Alex does all the cooking, and the dinners we had at the hotel suited us perfectly. There is no choice - just well-cooked, unfussy food using good quality ingredients. Breakfasts feature homemade cakes, jams (there is a jam menu!) and yoghurt. There are two terraces that catch the morning and evening sun. The reception areas and bedrooms are understated and comfortable. If you have the chance, try the musical evening at the week-end - great fun! Dinner is taken in the sitting room with an excellent musician playing songs chosen by the guests. The evening we went, the musician nimbly swapped between Spanish and English, as well as playing a huge range of music.
