"We stayed at the suites in May and we really enjoyed it! The room was very nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. We liked there was some sitting area to sit and play cards with friends. The pool looked great but weather was too chilly! The breakfast was very tasty and well done!! "

Above all the staff was polite and professional. Five star dining and we joined wine tasting as well. Evora is a wonderful place to visit."

"Feels like living in a historic bldg (built in 1500) with frescos and plaster walls and high ceilings. Situated in center old town close to cathedral and Roman ruins. Plenty of shops and restos nearby. Breakfast was fabulous. Rooms were fairly spacious and bidets in bathroom. Have to pay for parking "

"One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was pleasant, clean, and in great condition. The staff were helpful in spite of my poor Spanish and helped me with every issue. The staff even had some English which is not common in this part of Spain.The best thing was the welcome package, everything I or my partner could possibly need was provided, from the standard soaps and a hairdryer, to things like a razor, toothpaste and toothbrush, shoe horn, and feminine hygine products. I have never seen a bathroom equipped that well. I cannot reccomend highly enough The hotel is only 30 minutes from town and directly adjacent to the bus station. There are several supermarkets and cafes nearby as well. The only negative we encountered was that the air conditioning in our room failed part way through our stay, and they were unable to fix it after several attempts. This wasn't a major issue as we were able to open the windows."

"Just as you come onto the property, just outside the reception is a cobble stone path, where sets of chairs and tables are set up to watch the sunset and drink the wines produced at the nearby vineyard. That was my absolute favorite place to sit as we were celebrating my partner's birthday. Our friends from New York were vegetarians and found loads of options on the farm to table menu on offer for breakfast and dinner. It rained the last 3 days of our trip, cancelling our hot air balloon ride, but the concierge toggled quickly and offered us an array of options including an olive oil tasting. Our guide was a fount of knowledge. Thank you!"
