"Breakfast was amazing!!"

"We stayed one night at this place and it was a pleasant experience. One thing we noticed however were the ants in the patio which eventually made their way into the washroom. Not sure if we had stayed longer if they would have been all over the house but they were certainly all over the washroom in a short period of time. A minor suggestion would be to place a shelf in the shower to have a place to put shampoo/soap, etc."

"Our third stay at this property and the magical authenticity of the property still persists. The area is quiet with everything to hand plus with the added benefit of the beautiful Alentajo countryside. The hose is superb with everything you need and wonderful gardens."

"Beautiful pastoral setting. Guest room was comfortable with great bed. Wonderful decor in the breakfast room upstairs, and the food was great. Hosts were very engaging, sharing info on the neighborhood and the Roman wine-making process, which is their award-winning specialty. Nearby winery restaurant Quinta da Quetzal was amazing!"

"We had a 3 night break to relax and enjoy the local area with our dog and this was the perfect place to stay. The location is great - it´s on a quiet local street and is just a walk away from the historic castle and any of the wonderful restaurants and small supermarkets in the town. The property itself is comfortable and cleverly decorated, with a fabulous kitchen, and the outside space is really excellent with beautiful views of the local countryside. The owner was very helpful with recommendations before our stay, and check-in and check-out couldn´t have been easier. We´d really recommend this property and will hope to come back and enjoy it all over again in the future."

"The staff were lovely. Rooms spacious and clean. Pool area very nice with a bar area. A lovely little dog called Lilly lives there. Breakfast was very good. The area around it was undergoing some work, but I think that is very typical of Portugal I would go back. "
