"Great room. Welcome by staff was not good. Gentleman had a terrible cold and sniffled and touched everything. Not good. He should have stayed home vs put in a 3x4 elevator with 2 guests. Was also serving in the restaurant. Tried to address staff after first night because of a broken fridge but he had us stand there while he answered two calls that came after us. We walked away. He later apologized when told his actions were unprofessional. Room was lovely otherwise. Location was great. No parking though so when it says ‘available’ it’s off site and by chance."

"The staff of this little hotel go out of their way to help their guests enjoy Albi as well as their stay at the hotel. The decor is whimsical and charmingly quirky, our room was small but convenient, comfortable and clean and had an Audrey Hepburn theme in the wall decorations! Breakfast was lovely (our croissants the best we've had at stays in three star hotels in France!), complete with diy fresh squeezed orange juice, home baked pastries, excellent baguette and jams, good coffee, cheese, sliced ham, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, etc. There is a pleasant little lounge area where we had a glass of wine. The building itself doesn't have an elevator and parking seemed to be "complicated" but both were irrelevant to us. It is located a short walk to the historic centre in a quiet side street of Albi. Les Pasteliers is what a small, homey, hospitable "boutique" hotel should be. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!"

"The warm welcome and detailed introduction of Albi from Camille at the front desk was a great start of our stay in Albi. The parking within hotel premises and location 5mn walk from the historical center makes this hotel a perfect place to stay when visiting Albi. Hotel is located in a quiet street with no car circulation noise. I recommend to any visitor there."

"The staff was super nice and friendly. The front desk people speak English and they accommodated us well according to our needs. They provided information about a free electric bus. The breakfast was good and the pool very refreshing. Thank you!"

"Amazing location, but the alley to get to entrance to building is a bit smelly, full of pigeon poo and one morning human poo was right outside our door. Three stories of stairs to climb with suitcases can be challenging but the apartment itself is lovely and has everything you could possibly need. You feel just like you are in your own home while staying here. The air conditioning was a huge bonus in the hot summer heat. You can’t beat the location with everything you need right outside your front door and parking was very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to be back again one day soon."
