We stayed in the villa for 4 nights in August 2024. We had a self-check-in, as our host Francoise was abroad herself. However, Check-in was easy as described, WA-communication with Francoise as well, and there was a telephone contact to a neighbour in case of problems (wich we didn't need). The house is very nice, situated near the sea with sea-view from the upper story. The public beach is some hundred meters away but very nice, clean and quiet. The house is clean and equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed the big terrace with the small pool. As Albion is a touristically rather quiet spot for Mauritius, I recommend to have a rental car to be mobile. In summary, we really enjoyed our stay, Thank you very much Francoise!

Wir haben die Villa zu zweit fĂŒr 4 Wochen im Januar 2024 gemietet. Das Villa liegt unweit vom, aber ohne direkten Zugang zum Strand. Die Villa ist rundum mit Mauern und Toren gesichert und dadurch von allen Seiten von außen uneinsehbar. Die Ausstattung im Haus ist komplett und entspricht den Fotos im Inserat. Wobei die Aufnahmen von vor einigen Jahren sind. Der Zustand des Hauses und des Umfeldes hat sich somit alterungsbedingt entsprechend verĂ€ndert. Im Haus ist dennoch alles funktionsfĂ€hig und im ordentlichen Zustand. Die freie Sicht zum Meer wie auf dem ersten Foto dargestellt, ist durch Strauchbewuchs so nicht mehr möglich. Was uns nicht störte, aber fĂŒr die Auswahl möglicherweise wichtig ist. Die Bushaltestelle ist sehr nah gelegen. Der kleine Supermarkt in der NĂ€he ist fußlĂ€ufig sehr weit entfernt. Wir empfehlen fĂŒr dieses Objekt unbedingt ein Auto (Übernahme / Abgabe am Airport) zu mieten. Insbesondere dann, wenn man die Insel kennenlernen möchte und nicht nur den einen oder anderen Strand in der NĂ€he. Alboin ist eine gut bĂŒrgerliches Örtchen, gut gelegen um relativ schnell mit dem Auto an den schönen StrĂ€nden und den SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten an der WestkĂŒste zu gelangen. Wir können dieses Objekt fĂŒr Selbstversorger mit Hang auf interessante EindrĂŒcke in ruhiger, privater und sicheren Umgebung bestens empfehlen. Der Kontakt zu der Gasgeberin und dem Reinigungspersonal ist direkt, ohne Probleme und sehr herzlich. Der Service entspricht dem Angebot.

Wir haben 2 tolle Wochen im Oktober auf Mauritius verbracht. Das Haus ist in Ordnung, die Kommunikation und SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe haben gut geklappt. Im Haus hat man viel Platz und auch die Terrasse ist sehr schön. Die Ausstattung in KĂŒche und co ist gut. Der Blick von oben auf das Meer ist wunderschön und auch der kurze Weg an den Steinstrand ist perfekt. Hier kann man schönen SonnenuntergĂ€nge sehen. Leider ist das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen und dafĂŒr war es im Nachhinein zu teuer. An einigen Stellen wurde zwar bereits angefangen zu renovieren (z.B. das Bad im OG), aber da ist noch einiges zu tun. Ein Auto ist sehr zu empfehlen, das Haus liegt in einer recht ruhigen Wohngegend (außer vielen Hunden hört man nicht viel). Die Nachbarn sind sehr nett und freundlich. Alles in allem ist es ok, die traumhafte Insel und die freundlichen Menschen gleicht alles wieder aus!

This is a gorgeous property next to the ocean shore. Looking a little closer you see bars on the windows and inside doors. We rated the check in very low because we were not told about the security system which turned into a costly mistake when our phone, camera and documentation was stolen in the night as we slept. So all pictures are gone and we recovering from stolen identity actions. Really nice location, but crime can be a problem for tourists. The property manager very quickly resolved broken locks and security concerns but offered no financial support.

Maison bien Ă©quipĂ©e, rien ne manque ! mais! déçu par rapport aux photos sur le site ,l'environnement n'est pas terrible , le terrain devant la maison n'est pas entretenu , il y a un immeuble de 3 Ă©tages juste a cĂŽtĂ© , nuits difficiles Ă  cause des chiens qui aboient et pas de volets ni rideaux occultants aux fenĂȘtres des chambres donc rĂ©veil a 5 h du matin! Par contre un grand merci a Charonne pour ses dĂ©licieux repas et pour sa gentillesse ! Nous sommes surpris des commentaires Ă©logieux des prĂ©cĂ©dents locataires !

La maison est trĂšs bien placĂ©e sur l'ile sans bruit sauf celui de la mer des chiens et des oiseaux😄 Nous avons Ă©tĂ© bien accueilli. La maison est confortable et trĂšs propre. Une indication pour venir de l'aĂ©roport Ă  la maison serait utile quand on a pas de rĂ©seaux internet. Sinon parfait. Merci Charonne de ta gentillesse et accueil.

Wir haben eine schöne Woche in der Villa verbracht. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Francoise und der HaushĂ€lterin Charonne (What's App) war hervorragend. Die Villa liegt in einer ruhigen Villengegend (abgesehen von einigen klĂ€ffenden Hunden) ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Ortskern und dem Strand entfernt. Hier befinden sich auch ein Supermarkt und einige ImbissverkaufsstĂ€nde mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten, die sehr zu empfehlen sind. In 100 m Entfernung befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle. Etwa 50 Meter vor der Villa lassen sich am Meer (FelskĂŒste) traumhafte SonnenuntergĂ€nge beobachten. Die Villa selbst ist modern eingerichtet, insbesondere die erste Etage mit dem neuen Badezimmer. Auch die KĂŒche im Erdgeschoss bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefĂŒhlt und können die Villa uneingeschrĂ€nkt empfehlen.

Das Haus ist so, wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Man sieht von fast ĂŒberall das Meer, und wenn man das Gatter mit dem Elektrozaun zurĂŒckschiebt, ist es noch schöner. Charonne, die sich um das Haus kĂŒmmert, ist sehr nett und kocht auf Wunsch auch vorzĂŒgliches Essen fĂŒr die GĂ€ste, sehr empfehlenswert. Auch der Kontakt zu Francoise, der Besitzerin, war sehr freundlich, auch wenn wir sie nicht persönlich treffen konnten. Man braucht aber schon ein Auto, denn das Meer, welches man sieht, hat keinen Strand, sondern Felsen, die schönen StrĂ€nde und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegen ca. 20 Minuten entfernt. Also mit eigenem Auto auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

Das Haus entspricht dem Inserat. Alles ist sehr gut eingerichtet, besonders auch die KĂŒche. Perfekt sauber, super Kommunikation, sehr freundliche Betreuung durch Charonne. Terrasse und Pool sind sehr gemĂŒtlich, ein Ort zum Entspannen. Der Blick aufs Meer ist immer wieder herrlich. Auch die Poolbetreuung wird perfekt und diskret erledigt. Zum Strand muss man das Auto nehmen. Einkaufen ist gut möglich in Cascavelle oder in Albion fĂŒr kleine EinkĂ€ufe, auch hier wird das Auto benötigt. FĂŒr AusflĂŒge muss man viel Zeit fĂŒrs Autofahren einrechnen weil die Strassen oft ĂŒberlastet sind. Restaurants gibt es nur wenige in der NĂ€he.

Huis is ruim en heeft goede bedden en goed uitgeruste keuken. Badkamer boven is mooi en opgeknapt. Maar beneden en de ouder slaapkamer is oud en heeft een opknap beurt nodig. Het zou ook handig zijn als er een uitleg in het Engels is voor alle apparaten. Wij hebben flink moeten zoeken hoe bv vaatwasser en airco’s aangingen. Het was inderdaad heel attent dat er een maaltijd klaarstond. Maar als je geen Frans spreekt is communicatie met de hulp erg lastig. Albion is prima uitvals basis voor de west kust van mauritius, maar plaats zelf is niet veel te doen.

We had a fabulous week in Mauritius and used the villa as a base to explore the island in our hire car. Francoise, the owner, was abroad dealing with family issues but kept in full contact throughout. Charonne greeted us the morning after our late evening arrival and showed a great deal of hospitality...nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely to have some provisions provided and a home cooked meal left in the fridge for our arrival. This was very much appreciated after a long flight and drive trying to find the villa in the dark, with poorly lit streets, street names and diversions due to construction of a new bridge in Albion . At first we were concerned with the electric fence around the property, but it proved that this was more of a deterrent and we had little to worry about...the most we heard were the birds chirping away around the villa in the day time and the numerous stray dogs barking at night. A word of warning...do be careful if driving at night as there are many more hazards on the roads than in the UK!!( Cyclists do not use lights, pedestrians walk on roads with no footpaths and stray days frequently lie in the middle of the road). Overall, a lovely holiday was had and it was good to come back to the peace and tranquillity of the villa and the pool after a busy day touring and exploring the island. Just a suggestion..it might be useful to provide guests with a folder in the villa of useful information such as nearest large supermarket, places to go and things to do etc. Thank you to both Francoise and Charonne for making our holiday so enjoyable.

Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen, es passt einfach alles... gerade wenn man im Urlaub seine PrivatsphĂ€re bevorzugt. Die Ausstattung ist top sowie die Terrasse mit dem Pool. Wir konnten vom ersten Moment an genießen und hatten direkt das GefĂŒhl, angekommen zu sein. Charonne, die sich um das Haus kĂŒmmert, ist sehr angenehm und das Essen, was sie fĂŒr uns gekocht hat, war einfach nur lecker. Diesen Service von Charonne können wir nur empfehlen! Außerdem Giovanni, unser Taxifahrer fĂŒr den Airportshuttle, war sehr nett als auch die Empfehlung von Francoise fĂŒr Sam-Tours. Mit Sam-Tours haben wir drei AusflĂŒge unternommen und können das auch nur weiterempfehlen. Der Kontakt mit Francoise war ebenfalls sehr angenehm und sehr persönlich, auch wenn wir uns nicht kennenlernen konnten. Wir können wirklich zusammenfassend sagen, es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub, zu dem das Haus und die Kontakte unabhĂ€ngig von der schönen Insel und dem tollen Wetter sehr beigetragen haben.

Belle villa trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, de la petite cuillĂšre au lave linge,en passant par le lave vaisselle (trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©) il ne manque rien. La piscine sans chlore est trĂšs agrĂ©able et indispensable. les clim dans les chambres fonctionnent bien. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de rencontrer Françoise, mais Charonne (adorable Mauricienne) Ă©tait lĂ  pour s'occuper de l'entretien de la maison, et elle l'a fait trĂšs bien. Elle a aussi toujours Ă©tĂ© prĂ©sente Ă  la moindre demande de notre part, et je peux dire que les repas qu'elle nous a cuisinĂ© Ă©taient excellent. donc cinq Ă©toiles pour Charonne. L'environnement est calme, la plage est Ă  un bon quart d'heure Ă  pied, mais la route qui mĂšne n'est pas trĂšs agrĂ©able (le goudron est brĂ»lant et il n'y a pas d'ombre). Une voiture aurait Ă©tĂ© la bienvenue, Albion est cul de sac, et un peu loin de tout, mais quand mĂȘme assez bien desservi par les bus. VoilĂ , excellent sĂ©jour entre amis dans cette belle villa en fĂ©vrier 2019. Merci Françoise et un grand merci a super Charonne, peut ĂȘtre nous reverrons nous une prochaine fois.

Schöne gegend, gerĂ€umiges Haus, alles da was man benötigt, Salzwassserpool mit Aussendusche hat uns allen sehr gefallen. Ein bisschen erschreckt hat uns der Elektrische Zaun, der nicht aktiv war, dient wohl nur der Abschreckung, hat aber jeder in der Nachbarschaft, frage mich nur wieso, weil die Mauritianer sind alle super nett und hilfsbereit, von kriminalitĂ€t haben wir nichts mitbekommen...?Tipp: Charonne kocht super fĂŒr 300 rupien (zusĂ€tzlich Lebensmittelkosten), sollte man sich nicht entgehen.

maison trÚs confortable , avec équipement parfait. les chambres sont des vigies sur la mer tout prÚs et les oiseaux ont élu domicile sous le préau
 accueil chaleureux et disponibilité sans faille de Charonne a la moindre question. il serait bien pour compléter la prestation de laisser un book sur place avec des idées de visites ou sorties locales typiques ainsi qu'un petit cadeau de bienvenue genre rhum ou fruits 
 Albion est trÚs bien situé pour se balader dans l'ile et surtout vraiment imprégné dans la vie mauricienne loin des cartes postales !

La maison est moderne et trĂšs bien amĂ©nagĂ©e. Les chambres sont belles et spacieuses, la salle de bain du 1er Ă©tage est magnifique. La cuisine est extrĂȘmement bien Ă©quipĂ©e et fonctionnelle. La piscine est grande et agrĂ©able. Le jardin est plaisant mais dĂ©pourvu de surface de verdure. La proximitĂ© du mur d'enceinte et la clĂŽture Ă©lectrique sont un peu dĂ©sagrĂ©ables. Les photographies ne mettent pas assez en Ă©vidence cet aspect.

Villa Belifage Bleu: an amazing and gorgeous villa with astounding views of the ocean! We stayed there for a week and liked every second of it! Françoise, the proprietary, is an extremely nice, lovely and attentive person: she has responded to all our requests in a very timely manner and coordinated everything on spot. By chance, we had the opportunity to personally meet her: it was a very warm encountering and she provided lots of tips for our stay. There is also a team of housekeepers on spot and all of them are super nice - especially Charonne. They show up every other day (or as many times/when you like) to clean the house, pool, garden and even offer to cook dinner (real local creole cuisine - we tried it and absolutely loved it)! The Villa Belifage Bleue is located at the end of the small, but cozy village Albion at the west coast of Mauritius and is an amazing villa with magnificent views of the ocean over a patch of green - it's not the official beach that you can see, which is located a 5 min car drive away, but it's still gorgeous as you can hear the waves at night as well as the crickets and bird from the surrounding nature - how lovely. The villa itself is fantastic: it has a huge, covered patio with a big table for dinner, lunch and breakfast as well as a super nice seating area (with a wind protection) for cozy evenings. The pool (cleaned every day automatically with a cleaning robot) is big enough to take a dip and then to relax and sunbathe on the comfortable chairs - it has also an outdoor shower to cool down. The bedrooms (3x) are big and offer lots of storage space, the bath upstairs has been remodelled just recently and is super nice! The open kitchen/living room provides an 'airy' feeling - overall, we had everything we wanted (even a washing machine). We had a rental car (highly recommended for this place but also to be able to discover the island, even though the bus system is working well) and you can park it easily inside the protected/fenced area. If you are looking for a lovely place to stay in Mauritius a bit away from all the touristy places with a beautiful view of the ocean and an amazing host and team on spot do not look further: we can highly recommend Ville Belifage 'Verte' and we will certainly come back if the opportunity arises! Wir waren zu zweit fĂŒr drei Wochen dort. Es gibt ausreichend Platz, mit schöner Terrasse und kleinem Pool und sensationellem Meerblick. Als Selbstverpfleger fanden wir eine sehr gut ausgestattete KĂŒche vor und im Garten gabs einen Grill. Zum nĂ€chsten kleinen Supermarkt waren es 15 Gehminuten, grössere SupermĂ€rkte und sonstige Attraktionen sind weiter entfernt ( Auto empfohlen). Der Strand von Albion ist schön und auch ca. 15 Gehminuten entfernt. Die Bushaltestelle ist 1 min vom Haus entfernt, sehr praktisch. Die HaushĂ€lterin kam alle 2-3 Tage und schaffte Ordnung, auch Francoise war sehr hilfsbereit. Wer es gerne ruhig hat ist dort bestens aufgehoben, wenn Sie einen zuverlĂ€ssigen, guten Taxifahrer benötigen, fragen Sie Francoise nach Jo.

Nous avons passĂ© un agrĂ©able sĂ©jour dans cette magnifique villa. Elle correspond exactement aux photos de l’annonce. Elle est trĂšs fonctionnelle et possĂšde de nombreux Ă©quipement et elle est trĂšs propre. Une femme de mĂ©nage trĂšs gentille passe nettoyer la maison. Il y a aussi une superbe terrasse et une piscine avec des transats. Françoise est trĂšs accueillante et nous la remercions pour ses petites intentions. Nous remercions aussi Jo le taxi qui a nous Ă©tĂ© recommandĂ© par Françoise. Nous recommandons vivement cette villa et n’oublierons pas le chant des oiseaux le matin et la musique de la mer! Wir hatten das Haus von Anfang bis Mitte Dezember 2017 fĂŒr unseren Urlaub auf Mauritius gemietet. Das Haus ist sehr gerĂ€umig und es wĂŒrde genĂŒgend Platz fĂŒr 2 Familien bieten (wir waren allerdings nur zu zweit und haben somit nur eines von 3 Schlafzimmern benutzt). Im Haus befindet sich alles, was zu einem Selbstverpfleger Aufenthalt gehört, inklusive sehr moderner HaushaltsgerĂ€te ( Waschmaschine, KĂŒhlschrank, sehr großer Herd, Mikrowelle und Infrarot-Grill, Wasserkocher, Toaster, Kaffeemaschne und und und <-- alles im Neuzustand), auch Geschirr, Töpfe, Pfannen und Besteck, waren in "rauhen Mengen" vorghanden. Der Pool im Außenbereich lĂ€sst ebenfalls keine WĂŒnsche offen. Glasklares Salzwasser und eine sehr angenehme Temperatur haben uns mehrfach am Tag in dem Pool entspannen lassen. Alle 2 Tage kommt eine sehr nette HauhĂ€lterin um die Betten und um sauber zu machen. Auf Grund der guten Lage kommt man sehr gut zu allen SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten der Insel. Auch mit dem Bus, der in der NĂ€he des Hauses hĂ€lt, kommt man gut und preiswert nach Port Louis und Flic en Flac usw. Die sehr, sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Hausbesitzerin war rund um die Uhr per Email erreichbar und stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Abschließend bleibt nur zu sagen, dass es fĂŒr uns ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt war, bei dem es abslout nichts zu beanstanden gab. Vielen Dank auch noch einmal an die liebenswerte Francoise. Beautiful home just like the pictures, couldn't ask for more. The outside area is really nice perfect for relaxing and having a bbq with a lovely sunset to follow in the evening. Nice quiet area shops/beach not to far. Interior of the home is nice and clean with all bedrooms having AC. Pool was always clean as it had a self cleaning machine that runs everyday on timer. Cleaner comes however often you would like an does a great job. Owner of the villa was always prompt with answering calls and messaging back, so if you have any issues or questions the lovely lady will be there to help. Villa is very secure gated drive etc... Would recommend hiring a bike or car to get around makes life much easier. In other words I would 100% recommend staying here for your holiday.
