We stayed at the hotel on Sunday evening with my wife, daughter and granddaughter and, overall, had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is excellent, well maintained, and within easy walking distance of the city centre, making it a great base for visiting Birmingham. We arrived on Sunday morning and had breakfast at the hotel before heading to the theatre. The breakfast was very good, and the service at that time was excellent.
Unfortunately, our experience at breakfast on Monday morning was quite different. We had to ask several times for milk for our tea, and all four breakfasts arrived only lukewarm. We also had to repeatedly remind staff about items we had ordered, as it seemed requests were being forgotten. In the end, we had to seek assistance from another member of staff to get everything we needed. There appeared to be a lack of organisation and communication within the breakfast team that morning."
