"We just came back from PortoBay Blue Ocean and we had a lovely time. The hotel is very nice, airy and has a lovely atmosphere… very relaxed even thought it was quite busy. It does have different areas and all of them were very nice and you could relax. The breakfast is good… nice variety… I would only say that the quality of the cold meats could be better. The room was lovely, spacious. Only mentioned the the fridge wasn’t too cold and sometimes had a bad smell but it wasn’t always and it would disappear quickly so we didn’t make a fuss of it. I would recommend the hotel if you are looking for a relaxed holiday with an easy access to one of the best beaches in the Algarve"

"Really lovely few days here. The bedroom was spacious and super clean. The pool area big with loads of places to sit, the gym super equipped. And all the staff were excellent. Will def return!"

"W Algarve provided a wonderful experience; rooms are beautiful you can relax enjoy the sunset from beautiful balcony’s relaxing on comfortable furniture. Pool deck staff are lovely. Restaurants have great food. Overall wonderful experience"

"The hotel was good, staff were excellent. The reason I can't give a five star is because if your staying at a hotel you shouldn't have to pay for a beach chair, plus when we arrived we were told 13 euros for half day and 26 euros for entire day but when we got to the beach they said 30 euros. Moreover, I got to the beach around 1230 pm and I still got charged for a full day."

"Incredible property. Stunning beach with amazing lounge chairs— with availability even during peak season. Amazing breakfast. Fantastic restaurant/bar for lunch in the beach. Only downside was inconsistent and almost non-functioning housekeeping in hotel."
