Villa Gamboa is a luxurious villa surrounded by landscaped gardens, perfect for those seeking privacy, comfort, and unforgettable moments with family or friends. For horse enthusiasts, the property features an optional equestrian area with stables, a riding arena, and a coachman’s quarters, offering a unique experience.



The spacious open-plan living and dining area creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and sharing quality time.



On the ground floor, there are four en-suite bedrooms, three with double beds and one with two single beds, along with a guest bathroom. Upstairs, there is an additional bedroom with two single beds.



The independent annex includes two en-suite bedrooms with double beds, providing extra space and privacy for all guests.



The modern kitchen is fully equipped, ready for you to prepare your meals with ease.



Outside, the private pool, sun loungers, barbecue, and outdoor kitchen offer the perfect setting to enjoy the sun and alfresco dining.



Located in Albufeira, just minutes from the beaches of Galé, Salgados, and São Rafael, and close to a variety of restaurants, this villa offers the perfect balance between tranquility and access to the region’s best attractions.



The changeover day for this property is Saturday (however, there may be flexibility in low season).

If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and do not match the property's changeover day, please send us an inquiry before booking to confirm if your dates can be accommodated.



This property is self-catered. For your convenience, welcome food baskets can be booked in advance (additional cost).



Renting a car is not essential for your stay, given the property’s location. However, if you wish, we will be happy to assist with the car rental. We can also arrange transfers if needed.

Vila Gambo is a villa with a lot of rooms, great pool, more then enough space. Not much but a little of maintance off the villa has to be done.

Family holiday for a birthday celebration

Fab stay in Villa Gamboa with a group of 12. Plenty of space, spotlessly clean and great location. Some bits of the villa are a little tired but certainly nothing to be worried about. Pool and garden are amazing. The pool isn’t heated so in March you had to just brave it and jump in. The main road isn’t far away for buses and Ubers come to the house no problem but I would recommend getting a car. The staff at Algarve Vacations are great. They respond really quickly to messages. We had a brilliant time and will definitely be back.

The great get away!

The property was spacious and clean. It did not feel like 19 people were under one roof. Lovely pool. However it was difficult to find and the directions were not quite accurate. Once found we had a wonderful vacation. It’s a beautiful region.

Beautiful outdoor and pool area. Some beds should be replaced. More seating outside so the full group can share seating and table space. Cleaning should be improved as we found broken glass, lots and lots of used cigarettes several places outside. Many showers is in need of cleaning the drain.

Lovely property

A stunner of a property with a story to tell! Took a moment to find all the pots and pans. Be aware that amenities such as shops etc are a distance away if you are walking and beaches are not readily to hand if you are walking, though easily accessible if you have access to car. Seemingly Uber are quite cheap in the area. Also be aware that there will be no salt/pepper/sugar etc when you arrive so advisable that you arrive with some shopping.

Dated property with quite a few issues

Unfortunately there were a number of issues with this property, which put a dampener on our trip. Given the property was badged as “Luxury” we would have expected a better standard upon our arrival. For example, multiple broken parasols left at the property, broken coffee machine, non-functioning front grate (intercom broken), no canopy curtains and damaged sofas for the canopy, no check in information upon arrival (e.g. rubbish recycling), broken shower in one of the rooms, unusable mattresses in one of the rooms, unclean high chairs, kitchen equipment not working on the induction hob, dirty bath and shower fitting (jet washers were black with dirt) and no fire extinguisher. Some of these issues were rectified but others were not, this left a real downer on our holiday. The overall property itself is a bit dated, but I would say the pool area is great (subject to providing umbrellas and towels), and the local area is great for restaurants.

Gorgeous house and location. Need a few changes to make it perfect.

There are indeed 7 bedrooms, 6 lovely ones, last one quite far and stairs away from two piece powder-room. And in that room there is not a mirror, not a single hook to hang a dress or anything and one has to slide over one of the beds to get out on the balcony. That should NOT be listed as a full bedroom without any upgrading. There would easily be room for a small bathroom on the same level just outside the door. A puzzling thing: There are 14 beds + and we were a family of 15. There are three dining areas (one lovely one outside) and not one that would accommodate more than 8 people??? It did not make sense to me that we had to move a heavy dining table and several chairs around to be able to have a meal together. But one single thing was close to ruining my time there: there is a gate to come in and out of the property. this gate can only be opened with a small electronic gate-opener. We were 15 people with four cars. We were told by lovely Inis that the ONE opener we got could be left in the outside the gate keybox (with a code - all fine) when the last car left. But if there were still people inside the property you could not get out - and if there were an emergency you were stuck. Also, if someone had a very early flight and had to leave the middle of the night, they needed it to get out and could of course leave it out in the keybox - and then the rest of us had no chance of getting out of the property. We had two such occasions. Problems!!!!!

Eine außerordentliche Villa!

Die Villa bietet einer Gruppe von Freunden oder auch zwei bis drei Familien alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Man merkt der Villa an, dass sie wohl ursprünglich als privates Domizil einer wohlhabenden Familie konzipiert wurde. Die Einrichtung ist sehr hochwertig und individuell. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
