"Close to historic castle and SEF headquarters. The building was 300 years old but beautifully restored. The staff were very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here"

Enjoyed our visit to Miranda Burro country

"Our apartment was very modern but the property still has a very historic and, especially, authentic country feel. Very much appreciated the wood stove at that time of year. Only critique was lack of any American TV. While we don't particularly travel to Portugal to watch TV, when we stay in country places at this time year we don't relish driving after dark. Next time we'll know to have our tablet ready for movies."

"This accommodation has a lot of potential. The pool is great. The apartments are really large and clean. There are a few restaurants on the property that no longer function except to serve special events which is unfortunate because it’s in the middle of the country with nothing closeby. The office is a mile away from the accommodation. Google maps does not lead you directly to the office. The people running the place are very nice & helpful. There’s a good restaurant they run attached to the office. "

"Awesome place with in a quiet, rural place.Beautiful sunset view, delicious food, great breakfast, nice room, and kind staff are just few of its highlights. Highly recommended if you want to have a real and peaceful rest close to the Douro area. "
