Beautiful and interesting conversion of cloisters into hotel. Only complaints would be that bed was on the hard side as were pillows. Breakfast was amazing.

The hotel occupies about a third of the monastery and has been fully renovated. It is very clean and quite spacious. Definitely a very unique experience and there is no other place like this. Great water pressure in the shower. The included breakfast is spectacular. The center of the city is just behind the hotel building - a quick walk to shops and restaurants.

Property is very quiet, decoration is austere reflecting a modern monastic interpretation. Bedroom and Bathroom are spacious and comfortable. A swim cap must be used / purchased to access the pool. Breakfast room and meal is adequate and pleasing. Bar is austere to the point of seeming unfinished, a missed opportunity.

This is an amazing destination hotel. We used it as our base to explore central Portugal and couldn’t have been more impressed. Beautiful facility, modern rooms with ample space and free parking.
