"Great property and great people. The rooms were spacious, clean, updated and overall awesome. The front desk was friendly and helpful. I will absolutely stay here for future trips. There were some facility/amenity issues. The cooler in the lobby wasn’t functional, so the beer available for purchase was warm. Same with the serve yourself taps, which were warmer than you’d want and super foamy. Hopefully they fix this as it was a cool amenity that we used, but less than we would’ve otherwise. Lastly was the elevator, where only 1 worked creating some delays at peak hours for going to and from the room. Again, love this property and my stay wasn’t overly impacted by these minor inconvenient issues."

"Beautiful pool and hot tub area with mini golf and corn hole. Rooms could use a little update and would love to see hard boiled eggs at breakfast. But staff was attentive and diligent and the bacon was great"
My Place Hotel - Hastings

"Our stay started out on a not-positive note. We checked in and got out things up to our room. That's when we found out that we did not have the room type that we reserved. We reserved a single queen bed room with a recliner chair for 2 nights. (Sometimes we need a recliner to sleep.) When reserving the room, all of the rooms with a single queen bed had a recliner. And none of the other rooms had one. However, our room had two queen beds and no recliner. When I called the front desk about this, they told me that is how they received the reservation from Expedia. (But I know it was not because I pulled up Expedia's information. And I had the information from the hotel when they initially emailed me about the reservation. Everything said a room with 1 queen bed.) The hotel said that they were full that not and could not move us. Needless to say, I slept very little that night. However, the next morning the hotel said they would move a recliner into our room, which they dad when we were out at lunchtime. Sleeping the next night went much better. Other than this, which was a big thing for us, the hotel was nice and clean. It was convenient to several restaurants. (Although I do wish they served a breakfast of some sort.) The front desk staff were nice, and helpful with this room problem. However, don't tell us something that isn't true when we have a way to verify what you are saying."

"There was a lightbulb missing from one of the bedside lamps but plenty of other lighting. Room was clean and comfortable The breakfast was a simple self serve but definitely enough variety to fill you up. The area was very clean. I was looking for a place to sleep while on a long road trip. Best value for my money."
