"If you are looking for a little piece of heaven in the rural spanish countryside, this is the location for you. We had 8 people stay at this home and easily could have fit 16 total. Four things you should know first, 1) There is no air conditioning but if you consistently open the windows every evening and close them in the morning before the outside becomes warmer than the inside (around 9:30 in August) the house stays comfortable. Especially with the use of the standing fans available. 2) If you eat meat, you must order a suckling pig or lamb from Chema (1 minutecaway). Their potatoes were also delicious. 3) Plan to bring towels to use for the pool since you aren't supposed to use the ones provided. 4) Ask for clear instructions on where to park. We accidentally parked in front of a neighbor's garage.
All in all we highly recommend staying at Tradicion Rural Nieva. It was a great experience."
