"While the views of Lake Lugano are on point, the place is outdated and in dire need of renovation. We stayed in a Grand Suite, but cooling was a major issue, there were only two AC units for four bedrooms and a living room, which is unacceptable. We ended up dragging a mattress into the living room just to stay cool enough to sleep. The second AC unit had its noisy compressor installed directly inside the bathroom, making that space disruptively loud. To top it off, the building...

"Very clean bathroom"

"A really lovely stay at the ibis budget. A very short walk to the lake and a 20 minute walk to the centre of Lugano. Room was kept very clean and staff were friendly. Paradiso train station a 5 minute walk and bus stops nearby. Recommend the bakery/tea room round the corner!"

"Maravilloso"

"Quiet small little chapel in courtyard. Swimming pool on property. Beautiful views and great dinner on terrace. Close to bus stop to main Lugano station. Wanted to stay an extra night but they were sold out. Wonderful stay."
