A gallery-museum-house, which belongs to an artist. There are 2 accommodation units in the house, each for 2 to 4 people. They consist of a double bedroom, bathroom and living/dining room with sofa bed and cooking facilities. The courtyard belonging to the house can also be used and a barbecue is available. Alfacar is particularly famous for its many springs and its good bread, some of which is still baked in Arab wood-fired ovens. However, we bake our own wholemeal bread and can guide you in buying organic food. Alfacar, just ten minutes from the centre of Granada, is picturesquely situated at the foot of the Sierra de Huetor Nature Park. We are happy to share our knowledge of the country, its people and specialities with you. In addition to Spanish, we speak German and English and understand French, Italian and Portuguese. We can provide you with information and tips. The location is ideal for day trips to places of interest in the surrounding area. There are also good opportunities for hiking, climbing and paragliding. The distance to the Sierra Nevada ski area is 38 km and the distance to the sea is only 68 km. Breakfast is available in the cafeteria next door.
