It was a nice and very easy trip. The hotel was lovely. The staff were great. The bar was great. They recommended a nice café around the corner of breakfast. Great time all round.
Landlady was very pleasant and the rooms very clean.

Pleasant stay
Lovely room at the top of the building very clean on the inside, so don’t be fooled by the state of the outside. It was dead quiet, no food available but options in close vicinity. Lovely welcome. Shower a bit tricky to work out but once you do plenty of hot water.

Overall acceptable
We were looking for a basic nights stay and that is what we got. No food at the location (an oversight on my part when booking), but the beds were comfy. Walls a trifle thin, staff very friendly. Plenty of parking.
Great position, local easy parking!
Nice rooms, well equiped, nice barhroom, comfortably beds.
Lovely Bar downstairs, and good staff..
Would stay again!!
The Windmill was perfect for its locality near to the relatives we were there to visit. We had a beautiful big room, overlooking the market square. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My only negative would be that although it had an overall look of cleanliness, it really needed a deep clean. The linoleum in the bathroom was coming away around the eges of the room and was full of dust. Having said that it wouldnt stop us from staying there again.
Amazing hotel & staff! We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! Lovely room. The staff was attentive and very helpful. Beautiful little village!

Staff are great and very hospitable. Suite style rooms are large but ours needed a deep clean in the bathroom and around the dusty furniture. The TV reception was a bit hit or miss if you walked nearby it. A mix of old and new furniture, the bed was super comfy
The staff were fab and have us an extra hour before check out due to extraordinary circumstances which was much appreciated. The room was immaculate and the hotel is dog friendly. Check out the Willows tea rooms for amazing breakfast

A little disappointed
For the cost I can’t complain to much, very disappointed with the fact that they couldn’t provide any food options, didn’t like the fact that there wasn’t any sort of net curtains so you were either on full display to the public or you had to have the curtains drawn no secondary glazing so when the council workmen started putting up the market stalls @6am that was me awake. The bar had a good choice of drinks at very competitive prices, car parking was good over all it served my purpose for somewhere to sleep and a good chip shop just around the corner and the hotel dinner supply me with a plate and cutlery so I could eat in my room
The 3 staff we liaised with, the receptionist, server and the chef were all delightful, very welcoming and friendly. A great stay in a lovely spacious family room for us and the two children
