"I really enjoyed my stay at AVA Cancun. The resort is beautiful, modern, and has a lot to offer with great amenities, good food, and a fun atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and overall it was a great experience. One thing to keep in mind is that the resort is very large, so be prepared to do a lot of walking to get around. If you don’t mind that, it’s definitely a great place to stay."

"Disappointing Experience Despite Advance Booking Our group of six friends booked three rooms well in advance and specifically requested that all three rooms be next to each other, each with two double beds. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were informed that our rooms were not even on the same floor. After speaking with the manager and spending nearly an hour sorting things out while tired and hungry from traveling we were finally told that all three rooms had been arranged on the same floor, with only one room slightly farther away. However, once we checked in and received our keys, we discovered that the rooms were actually on different floors, and the two rooms that were supposed to be next to each other were not. This was extremely disappointing, especially since the hotel appeared to have plenty of empty rooms and our request had been made far in advance. We chose this hotel to celebrate a friend’s 50th birthday and were looking forward to a special getaway together. As busy women who rarely get time away from our families, we expected a much better experience and more thoughtful accommodation of our request. Sadly, this stay fell far short of expectations, and in hindsight, we may have made the wrong choice in selecting this hotel."

"I really can’t explain how gorgeous is this hotel! It’s so perfect from A-Z! The staff, cleanliness, food, atmosphere, room and everything was perfect and we had a great time! 😍 this was our first time in Cancun and it left absolutely great memories. We are definitely going back 💃"

She was always so friendly and welcoming, and her positive energy made such a difference in my stay. It was clear she genuinely cared about making guests feel happy and comfortable. Victor brought such a positive energy and was consistently helpful whenever I needed anything. Manuel was incredibly professional and detail-oriented, ensuring that every aspect of my stay ran smoothly. Gabriel was equally outstanding—friendly, accommodating, and always willing to go the extra mile. Together, they created such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my stay. Their teamwork and dedication did not go unnoticed. "Wasn't impressed by the food. Most resorts offer pasta at supper where they cook in front of you and you select what you want. Also icecream broke 2nd day and wasn't fixed during our stay. Selection of food was not fantastic. But I came for the sun and got that."
