We had a good time here. However the service at this hotel leaves much to be desired. We had a great experience with Ali from the Algerian restaurant who was warm and helpful at every turn. He stands out as an example of what service could be like here. In contrast the bar staff was contemptuous towards guests. I overheard them insulting me in Arabic as they assumed I didn’t understand the language. Overall expect a mixed bag with service. Everything else is 4-star like experience.

Grande chambre au calme avec très belle vue sur la baie d'Alger de la très belle terrrasse, propre quoique la moquette mérite un rafraichissement, ainsi que la chasse d'eau défectueuse. Petit déjeuner correct, sans plus, expresso (500 dinars) et jus d'orange pressé en supplément (orange à profusion en cette fin décembre). Personnel d'accueil sympathique. Au final: Bel hôtel.
