The apartment sleeps up to 6 people. 2 in a double bed in the master bedroom which also has a bathroom with bath, 2 in a room with two beds and two more in the third bedroom. There is a large balcony overlooking the gardens in front of the building and the sea. The modern kitchen has a fridge, a dishwasher cabinet, washing machine, microwave, toaster and other utilities. The first bathroom with a large shower at ground level, sink and toilet. The bathroom of the master bedroom has: a bath, washbasin, bidet and WC. The apartment is located 100 meters from the bus station to which you can move around the province and even in Spain. There is a wide choice of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The iconic Esplanade is a 10-minute walk, and the department store "El Corte Ingles" is 5 minutes walk, Thursdays and Saturdays there is the market, offering an unrivaled range of fresh fruits and vegetables. Getting around the city is easy, either on foot or by bus and access to other parts of the Costa Blanca is easy using inexpensive local buses and regular trains and trams. Access to the airport is very close for only € 3'85 can also easily use regular buses that stop near the apartment. The apartment has cold / hot air conditioning with thermostat in each room.

Lovely apartment and location, Best hosts ever!
We chose this apartment based upon its location, size, and a review that stated it had a sunny balcony from 10-5 in the winter. We were not disappointed and really enjoyed all 3 months here in our home away from home. The hosts have a well equipped kitchen which was very important to us including little things like an apron, multiples of things like measuring cups and plastic storage containers. They also had a rolling grocery cart which we didn't use but it was nice that it was available. Beds were very comfy and they provided extra sheets and pillow cases making sheet changing easier. Also provided cleaning products which was nice to not have to get glass cleaner, degreaser and stainless steel spray. Iron and ironing board were also handy as i had clothes that needed pressing. The property has a concierge which was nice as i once dropped a sock from the laundry window. He went and retrieved it for me. Heres a piece of advice…hang out your small items on the pop up dryer and use the drying line for big items. The view is great. We loved watching the big boats come in and out of the port. We sat on the balcony all the time with a glass of wine. The apartment was very quiet. We slept very well. We had 3 sets of visitors come and they remarked that the other beds were also comfy. Mateo was very kind to come out to help us one night when we were in a jam so he holds a special place in our hearts for his kindness.

Comfortable condo in a nice location
Three of us stayed in this condo for the month of September and really enjoyed it. It’s got a nice little balcony and we enjoyed watching the cruises ships come and go. The living room has ample space. The bedrooms are decent size. There’s a nice big fridge in the kitchen and all the supplies you need. It was great to have a washing machine too. The beds were comfortable, though they could use a few more pillows. The a/c was a bit noisy but kept us cool. The condo is decorated a bit old fashioned but it is cozy. The owner Mateo is a lovely man and answered all questions (in Spanish or with Google translate). The liked the location as it was within a very easy and pleasant 15 min walk of the old town and esplanade (20 min to the beach) and just far enough out to be quiet and a bit residential. There were several good grocery stores and restaurants within a 3 to 10 min walk, with a Carrefour Express right next door. The bus station is a convenient 5 min walk and we used it or the local bus stop many times. The train and tram stations were 10 to 15 min walk. We loved Alicante and would happily stay at Mateo’s place again.

Excellent apartment, very clean and well equipped. Two full bathrooms and nice balcony with sea view. Beds were quite comfortable. Wi-Fi was fast and trouble free. Good to be back
This was our third visit in 4 years to the area but the first to this apartment. It is an ideal spot, easy walk to all amenities and the Carrefour almost next door was a real bonus. South facing balcony was fantastic at this time of year - just wish it was bigger!

The property was as described, in a great location, and is well appointed with everything you could need, a bit from the beach but as we are not beach people it didnt bother us. Very close all the shops and a 5 minute walk to the bus station, unfortunately our month stay was cut short as our airline cancelled our return flight so we only managed 2 weeks. Although the owner kindly offered to let us come back again for the rest of our stay at a later date we declined as we have been to Alicante enough now, so slightly disappointed he didnt offer us a small amount of our fee back

Mateo un hombre muy amable amistoso , comunica muy bien, todo era como hablamos antes del viaje. Ya estuvimos tercera vez en su apartamiento, es un lugar perfecto para familias, y los que quieran un lugar tranquilo. El apartamento es ocupado bien, hay de todo lo que quiera una familia. Fantastic Apartment in a fantastic part of Alicante
This apartment is absolutely perfect with three bedrooms one with an en-suite. We were only four people because one our group couldn't make it at the last minute but the apartment would have been perfect if we had been five, or even the maximum of six occupants. The apartment is in what I assume is a residential block so having respect for the neighbours is essential, this of course means that things were also nice and quiet for us. In addition, the apartment had everything we needed, from comfortable sofas to the kitchen essentials including a dishwasher, not that we cooked much as there are so many fantastic restaurants very close by. Alicante is enormous and we seemed to be in a more residential and business area which was perfect for us as it made things very relaxing. Although the more touristy part was only a 5-10 minute walk away if we wanted a more exciting evening than just enjoying one of the many local restaurants. We had a hire car and parking was easy. Because we were out for most of every day we mostly used the street parking available directly outside the entrance to the apartment block, which is free overnight, so the odd Euro now and again just gave is a little more time in the mornings. On the one day we didn't use the car we placed it in one of the many public parking lots which was easy to use and a very reasonable price. What we found nice, although it did put us to the test as we knew very little Spanish, is that most of the shops, bars, and restaurants were Spanish run with a lot of the staff knowing little of no English. It made the holiday different and we feel that we have really visited beautiful Spain and Alicante and not just another hotel in the sun with a pool and lots of bars and drunk people. Last but not least I have to mention how friendly Paco was (Mateo's brother in law) who showed us around the apartment, we were delighted as soon as he opened the front door and felt at home straight away. We had a fantastic time in Alicante and this apartment was one of the reasons, I can honestly recommend it anybody who is visiting Alicante for a proper holiday and not just one spent in bars or clubs. Comfortable and well-appointed apartment
The apartment is as described in the online details. It is conveniently located with lifts to get you to the third floor and there are nearby shops and bus stops. Beach is 10-15 minutes walk away. Small balcony which is sheltered and catches winter sun between about 10.30 and 5. Alicante is a good centre for visiting other interesting places (the bus station is round the corner and train station about 10 minutes' walk). Mateo and his wife are very pleasant, welcoming and helpful.

Good location, clean, great for children, friendly host
We had a great holiday in this appartment, it was very clean and well presented. We were met outside by the host and shown around the appartment and how to access it. You go up one floor then outside across a balcony and then up another two floors. There was a lift for the pushchair so you don't need to use the stairs. We went with the family including a 14 month old. The flat had all we needed for the baby including a washing machine which came in very handy when we had got through all her clothes. The flat had English TV and WiFi which suited the older girls and even a DVD player. There are many play parks very close to the flat which all the girls loved and kept them entertained for hours. The beach was about a 20 minute walk away but easily accessable. It never felt like a long walk as there was always something to see on the way or another park to have a play on. The shops, old town, castle and tram station are also all easily accessable from the flat so everything that you could want is within walking distance. There is a little supermarket abaout 2 doors away that we used and stocked most items that we needed. It was open from 9 in the morning to about 9.30 at night every day. There are also local street markets that are worth a visit and stock a wide variety of foods and other items. If we come on holiday to Alicante again we would choose to stay here again.
