"We arrived via the not fit to drive at night broken road and upon arriving decided NOT to stay even though we had paid. The hotel pics must be very old as it looks like something from a horror film. Flaky paint, badly kept gardens and flies in our room. We handed back the key and left. The road to the property is horrendous. Don't even think about going anywhere for dinner and back....it's not safe....awful"

"Beautiful setting, quiet and luxurious. Food was amazing. We had the Chef’s special menu for 50 Euro as it was so good. We had to leave early in the morning due to a train strike but they provided breakfast before we left which was nice of them. We were travelling by train and it was quite expensive for a taxi from Cefalu but worth the trip. Great view from pool. Would recommend and would be nice for a special occasion."

However the breakfast and restaurant options could be improved, including more variety of the menu (compared to what is advertised on their webpage). Also the WiFi need to be looked at, as nowadays essential especially in a remote location with no phone reception. "

"Family run - the owners are young and very sweet. They communicate in English too so for us it was much easier.The place was very welcoming (thank you for the sweets on the pillows) It felt like home! Super clean and abundant breakfast. On Thursdays there is a local market just round the corner too. Few meters away is a pizzeria - buonissima 😊The area is very safe with Children playing outdoors in the evenings. "Absolutely stunning little gem in the surroundings of Cefalu. Debora and the staff were really welcoming. We had a pleasant stay in a charming house of a typical Sicilian village. Our room was decorated with taste and the house is full of nice little touch and details eg. some Ortiga soaps are provided for the guests. It’s also great to come back to a cool and fresh place after enduring scorching heat."
