"Cozy room with all amenities needed."

"The rooms were spacious and clean and the grounds were beautiful. Plenty of parking and an easy drive to Obidos. Luckily we were there on a cool night so the lack of air conditioning was okay but a fan would be nice to keep the air moving. Breakfast was lack luster and the bed pillows could use updating. However, it was a really cute space to stay with a family for a few days"

Climbing up and down from floor to floor can be challenging, especially if carrying anything, or if you need to make a bathroom trip from the bedroom in the middle of the night. "Casa do Vale Cabo is a true work of the heart. The landscape changes. And time slows in this special part of Portugal. The food tastes better. The air is lighter. You can breathe and be nourished. Our lodgings were immaculate. Our view was exquisite. The most special thing though is the amazing humans who hosted our stay. We came in strangers. And left friends. "The rooms and amenities are new and clean. But the standing shower lacks a space to put your toiletries. There should be a stand or box to put it. Otherwise you put it on the floor. The owner speaks minimal English. Not very helpful."
