After the forest fire of July 1998 was a decision: if one suffers from trying to land, you must look at the sky. Now, attached to the ruins of the ancient castle of Montedono, a telescope of 400 mm. diameter, equipped and controlled automatically, allowing observation of the universe. The stars, nebulae and galaxies are easily observable. The refractor has sunscreen. The observatory dome with a diameter of 5 feet, was built in 2004 for public institutions to help agritourism in the area.
