"Beech Cottage is a pet friendly property in the heart of Bakewell. It was the ideal place for us to stay for a 2 night break with our friends for a Birthday treat. Located just a 5 min walk from Bakewell centre, private parking & great walks for our dog. The cottage has everything you need, 2 bedrooms with en-suites, cosy lounge and even a private garden with hot tub. Check in was easy & the entire place was lovely and clean on arrival. The host Henry was contactable all the time making staying there a dream. I am sure we will be staying again in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family & friends "

"The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great and freshly cooked. There was a good choice for the dinner menu and very good quality food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone. Thanks for great stay."

"Lovely cottage in a perfect location for the town. Plenty of wonderful walks close by. Lots of places to eat, but cottage was well equipped for cooking. Very peaceful location. Cottage was very clean and comfortable."

"Pretty good although it was a little cramped downstairs for 4 to eat. But well equipped and nice and warm. We enjoyed our stay. Some little niggles, nothing major: Bannister on the stairs coming away from wall.The top bedtoom could do with some blackout curtains as the blinds let too much light through.Bulb in top shower we replaced, no more bulbs left.Remote for freesat not working.Cheers"

"The cottage is in a great location, only a 2 minute walk into the town. The hot tub was lovely and private. All rooms were clean and tidy, with enough room for 3 couples. It’s very dog friendly, and highly recommend for anyone who is looking to stay in Bakewell! "

"We had a lovely stay in the cottage. It was just right for the two of us. We were happy with every aspect of the accommodation inc its location which was convenient for the town centre.Only one thing in the description i noticed was it said a super king size bed. We have one of those and the one here is not a super king but a king size. Not a problem though.It was a great few days overall.Thank you."
