"We only stayed here for one evening on our way back from our Irish coast tour. We were surprised that the rooms were in such bad shape, because the reviews were so good. The bathroom was not in good shape, the carpet was falling apart, the water would not get hot, and the water in the shower was backfilling. "Obviously the hotel is undergoing massive renovations and I’m sure it will be incredible when finished- but be aware right now that your view in the summer of 2026 might be of a building site and the bathrooms for the pool are like portapotties and very substandard. "Great spot in a cool town a short drive from airport. Our landing spot after an overnight flight. Mac was great, bar and food fantastic, this spot did the job getting us on our way to Dingle. Will be a future stop whenever we come over."
