"The location to the Airport is great, either a walk if you feel like it, or a free shuttle bus. The staff are good and helpful, the room was clean and big enough. The restaurant food was... ok, it was well presented, cooked well, however it was VERY salty. far too much salt that instead of enhancing the taste it overtook it."

"The room was spotless and spacious. The shower room was again very clean and modern. The welcome from the staff on arrival and at breakfast was very friendly and the hotel was only a couple of minutes walk from the tram to airport or city centre."

"Room was clean, some black mold on the doorframe in the bathroom. Only first 4 hours of parking was free. Cleaning staff were quite friendly, Check in staff seemed quite young and could have been a bit more professional. Was a great location to the airport, walkable with luggage."

"Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, except for a very disturbing incident that happened shortly before checkout, at around 10 a.m. The cleaner came to my room twice. The first time, he opened the door and walked in. I immediately told him to leave. A little while later, he came into my room again. I told him three times not to enter, but he ignored me and insisted on coming in anyway. After seeing me naked, he left the door open and did not leave the room. Instead, he stood there staring at my naked body. He also kept trying to engage me in conversation, seemingly to delay leaving the room, while looking me up and down and staring at my body. The cleaner was a man. His behaviour made me feel extremely uncomfortable, humiliated and violated. I felt that my privacy had been seriously invaded, especially as I had clearly told him several times not to enter my room. At first, I considered letting the incident go, as the rest of my stay had been satisfactory. However, I ultimately felt that this behaviour was completely unacceptable and that I needed to speak up about it. I sincerely hope the hotel takes this complaint seriously and investigates the incident. No guest should ever have to experience this kind of behaviour, especially in the privacy of their own hotel room."

"had a great stay at Dakota Hotel, Queensferry. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were excellent — very clean, modern and finished to a high standard. Having Sky TV in the room was also a nice bonus! The hotel is around a 15-minute drive from Edinburgh Airport, making it a great option if you’re travelling early or late. I would definitely recommend using the airport shuttle bus if available, as I paid £30 for a taxi from the airport to the hotel and another £30 for the return journey. There’s also a Tesco just a minute’s walk away, which is really handy if you need to pick anything up during your stay. Overall, I would definitely recommend Dakota Hotel, Queensferry. Great rooms, lovely staff and a convenient location for the airport. I would happily stay here again!"
