"This is a perfect chalet. Homely and comfortable, our group of 6 adults and four children had a marvellous stay in Vars. Fantastic location - a few minutes walk from the ESF school and lifts, and minutes away from a separate area where the children could toboggan and play with snowmobiles. Vars is fantastic - a relaxed, sunny, low-key resort with lots of charm and not the herds of Northern European skiers you usually encounter further north in Chamonix or equivalent. Petit bémol : Propreté à améliorer, problème de fuite d’eau depuis la salle de bain de l’étage (eau tombe sur la table en rdc et éclabousse les alentours) qui à notre avis n’est pas liée à l’indication fournie, coin cuisine très petit, aucun emplacement pour ranger la vaisselle."

"Serge and Francois have created a little paradise in Barcelonnette. The property gardens and pool area and immaculate. You wouldn’t have a clue that the owners are around as they are very discreet. The walk into town is about 20 minutes. My youngest is 10 and we did this most nights and was easy. A safe river path no cars most of the way. Plenty to do in a around the area. From rafting and walk boarding at the lac in Jausiers. We had a great time and the property is excellent value for money....

"For us, the most appealing aspect of this chalet was its location and size. The chalet is five minutes off the main road up a narrow road. The large deck of the chalet faced beautiful mountains and the isolation ensured total quiet.
