We had a great time staying in Alma celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Michael was very helpful when needed.

Wow, what a great host and property! We really enjoyed our visit, everything was clean, tidy, and just as advertised. Perfect location if you want to hike 14ers in the area and we even were visited by a moose. Communication with the host was great. 5 stars!!!!

Overall the stay was great however there is a strange odor that we could not find the source of and the road to the cabin is extremely rough. The tax payers along this County road should be pushing back for what they receive in maintenance.

Beautifully secluded home in a great neighborhood. You can see the next home but it is so quite you feel completely in nature. Close to a lot of 14ers and Alma is just a 5 min car ride away.

We stayed at this house for a month in July and loved it. The Alma location is close to many hiking trails and forest roads for getting off the beaten path. The house is off the main road and very private - we had a moose visit us twice which made for great close up pictures from inside the house. The house is very well stocked with all you need for cooking meals and has nice tasting filtered water for filling your water bottles. The TV is a large one not the one shown in the photos and the internet worked well for netflix and Amazon. The Alma location is not busy like Breckenridge and has only two restaurants but you can take your pick of restaurants in Fairplay about 6 miles away where you can get groceries and stop in at the Brewery. We enjoyed fishing in the Alma State Wildlife area, Montgomery Reservoir which has a beautiful waterfall, and enjoyed hiking to Emma Lake, Kenosha Pass and many other hikes close by. The owner was very easy to communicate with and quick to reply to any inquiries. We drove many scenic forest roads including Weston Pass, Four Mile and Beaver Creek Road, and even made it over Mosquito Pass to Leadville in our 4-Runner. Would definitely stay here again.

We were so pleased with our stay at this perfect spot in the mountains. The location was amazing - close to Breckenridge and tons of incredible hiking spots but still completely private. The rental had everything we needed for our stay - it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything was extremely well labeled which made it easy to find. The owner was super helpful and checked in a few times both before and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this place and would love to come back again soon!

Overall this place was just magical. First, Alma is the most quaint mountain town. Al Mart general was so great and surprisingly had all we needed. The town of FairPlay was a great place to eat after a day on the slopes. The owner of this home was so attentive and readily available for any and all needs. I was traveling with my 6 year old and 6 month old, WiFi wasn’t working and I was struggling because I couldn’t get the baby monitor to connect so I could monitor while on the bottom level of home. He helped me fix the issue immediately. Happy momma! We loved the views and just everything about this house. We will be back to visit Alma and 2 mile home. The Abdu’s from Tennessee

We really enjoyed our stay! The owner is extremely attentive and even helped us with travel guidance as we arrived during a big snowstorm. Any issues or questions we identified were answered quickly and diligently. There were great things to see nearby - both popular (Breckinridge, Keystone) and less popular (“South Park” nearby, small hikes.). We also saw moose regularly and the view is stunning in and around the house. We had a great time!

Great spot and very quite country area. Only around 10 minutes to Fairplay and 20 minutes to Breckenridge. Rained quite a bit during our stay but still had no problem getting our Camaro to the house! Nice and clean! Great place to stay.

We stayed at this home for a week and were very impressed! Very clean, well-stocked, and had great views. The drive into Breckenridge is very quick and scenic. We wanted a place that was quiet and relaxing, yet still close to the resorts of summit county. This definitely fit the bill! Kitchen appliances are all modern and work well. Beds are comfortable, linens were all clean and fresh, and the place just looked and smelled clean. The owner reached out to us via e-mail before our arrival to introduce himself and make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommends this place!!
