The best hotel in the other side of the river.

This is a wonderful and very relaxing hotel to stay. Everything its outstanding.It is better to have a car as you dont find nearby shops or transports. Its a hotel that you can easily visit Almada velha, as it has a panoramic lift and surly not far from lisbon.

Lisbon hotel review

The service, food and rooms were excellent. The staff went beyond their duties to keep us informed and comfortable. Gave us extra information about the areas to visit and even packed our breakfast as we were leaving early to get to the airport.

Awesome experience!

This hotel offered us everything we needed, and then some. My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Quinta do Tagus Village and loved our time there. The views from the property were extraordinary. The staff was incredibly helpful and spoke multiple languages to accommodate every traveler. The food was delicious. The rooms were clean and well kept. I couldn't believe we were able to get a hotel of this quality at the price point we received. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional experience in the Lisbon area.

Lisbon Oasis

A great spot in Lisbon for our first visit. The last road into the 'village' made us wonder if we were in the correct spot it was so rundown, however once you get there the views of Lisbon are magnificent and the room we had was well appointed and very comfortable. Catching the ferry to Belem was a great way to get there and look around the area.

A really nice hotel , clean and beautiful positioned for views, the staff are outstanding with their customer service. Just a few niggles such as no hooks in the bathroom or in the room to hang outdoor clothing and very very little space for toiletries in the bathroom needs shelves. Would have also liked a fridge in the room to keep drinks in as there isn’t an actual bar you need to buy them locally and keep them in the warm wardrobe.

Très reposant

Lieu très reposant mais pratiquement impossible à trouver sans GPS et encore il faut que ce soit Google sinon ça ne fonctionne pas! Mais une fois arrivé, c'est le bonheur et la belle expérience qui peut commencer. Nous recommandons l'endroit.

Beau séjour

Chambre confortable et spacieuse avec très grande terrasse et belle vue. Le personnel très agréable et à l’écoute. Excellent petit déjeuner. Important : Louer absolument un véhicule si vous souhaitez vous déplacer Mon fils de 8 ans ne s’est pas fait de copains car y séjournent surtout des couples sans enfants. Je recommande toutefois cet hôtel Bravo au personnel Bravo aux portugais pour leur accueil

Improvements needed

Lack of organization At our request, hotel organised airport transfer on our arrival which we would pay hotel on checkout. However on our arrival the driver informed us that we were to pay him directly, receptionist at hotel did not seem to know anything about this but did settle the bill with the taxi driver. On our last night we informed the reception staff that we would be eating in the hotel’s restaurant, only to be told that the restaurant had been booked for a private function. They had omitted to inform us that hotel guests were not able to eat in the hotel that evening. They admitted that they should have informed us days beforehand. Hotel did arrange for pizza to be delivered. Location Remote definitely need a car cannot rely on taxis even after being told taxi would arrive within 5 mins, we had to wait for over 40 minutes before taxi arrived and same on the return journey. There is a water treatment plant near the hotel, if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction you get a strong sewage smell. Across the water there was a music event taking place and the music was loud enough to cause disturbed sleep until 2am. Facilities Pool area had lots of broken tiles and sharp metal lamps which were dangerous No hotel information in rooms No information about what to do in case of fire or other emergency Reception not always manned Lighting in room not good lots of missing lights / flickering bulbs In our room there was NEVER any hot water while other parts oh hotel did.

Excellent hotel with stunning views

We booked this hotel short notice after our previous travel plans fell through. We found the staff very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The room was basic but did have coffee making facilities and a free bottle of water, the staff offered us a drink on arrival and then proceed to show us around so we knew where everything was. We ate in their restaurant and enjoyed the meal and the service was excellent. When we told them we needed to leave early before breakfast they arranged for a packed lunch for us to take with us for later which was greatly appreciated. I don't think however, we would have found the hotel without our sat nav.

Ett riktigt mysig litet hotell med fantastisk utsikt, utsökt kök för alla måltider och fint poolområde för bad och relax. Det ligger avsides men det kan ju vara del av poängen. Det är ändå inte mer än 20-25 minuter till Lissabons centrum med bil/taxi.

Fantastiskt ställe väl värt ett besök. En underbar frukost serverades varje dag. På restaurangen prövade vi bl.a. den japanska menyn och den var sagolik. Dock var priserna på restaurangen lite väl höga. Personalen var oerhört vänlig och hjälpte gärna till med råd inför våra utflykter. Ett fantastiskt vackert ställe som varmt rekommenderas.

Schönes Landhaus

Die Besitzerfamilie ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Leider ist das Hoteleigene Restaurant ein wenig überteuert. Restaurants sind leider in Gehnähe nicht vorhanden. Zum nächsten Strand sind es cirka 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Super Laufstrecke vom Hotel weg. Der Besitzer hält Pferde und Hunde, für Kinder ideal. Schöner Pool mit Liegen. Super Frühstück, allerdings erst ab 08:30.

Bed and Breakfast with a lovely view experience

Quito do Tagus Village is like a bed and breakfast. They give good concierge service, the breakfast that comes with is lovely, and their dinners/wine selection are affordable and delicious. They give very good service. The view of Lisbon is beautiful in day and nighttime. Though some have said they did without a car, I'm not sure how one would manage without one. Make sure you have a GPS to get around. It doesn't take much time to get into Lisbon's lovely downtown from the hotel.
