"Avenida Palace Barcelona is a beautiful, well-located hotel, and overall we truly enjoyed our stay. We chose this property—and were willing to pay a premium—to experience the “Beatles Suite,” given its unique historical connection to The Beatles and their 1965 visit to Barcelona.
While the suite is generously sized, it ultimately fell short of expectations, particularly considering the added cost. The Beatles theme is a wonderful concept; however, the execution feels underwhelming and lacks the sophistication one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The design appears somewhat amateur and does not reflect the elegance and refinement so beautifully showcased in the hotel’s lobby and common areas.
As someone with a background in design, this felt like a missed opportunity. With more thoughtful curation, higher-end furnishings, and a more cohesive aesthetic, the space could become a truly immersive and luxurious experience worthy of both its historical significance and premium price point.
We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. However, in its current condition, the Beatles Suite does not justify the additional expense, and we would not book it again unless improvements are made. The staff, however, were wonderful and deserve special recognition."
