A very good hotel if you want chill and calm. The only thing is that it’s far away from Amsterdam but you have the train station right next to it. Workers were nice. I recommend !

Super convenient and close to train and bus station. Staff was friendly. Quick mart located directly across the street. Lobby offered a small sit down bar for alcoholic drinks and there was a large vending machine selection. Great stay!

EXCELLENT!

Very good hotel and extremely friendly staff at night. They also allowed us to check in earlier by signing up to the Best Western. Room was pretty big and clean and had good space. Yes we did have an issue, the safe in the room for some reason didn't open even though we typed in the correct code! rest assured the staff again was helpful and opened this for us with no hassle. The main problem was that the pool was not open! To summarise, recommened stay for families, friends looking for somewhere good to stay. The area around also has shops (use google maps) to eat at for dinner as well as general shops nearby.

For what it was, we really liked this property. First time to Almere, and... iiiiiits right there off the train. Staff, except for one night curmudgeon, was awesome. Friendly and welcoming. Right across the street is a SPAR for salads, fruit, wine/beer and delightful conversation. Near is an Aldi, Primark and Action and retail hell, for those of you who enjoy such things. It was unusually rainy and cold whilst we were there and found a simple rain jacket at Primark. WED and SAT afternoon market in the r/h w/ awesome food which is NOT to be missed. Pool was closed... rail ruled too short by inspectors? Safety reason. We had a big room, hotplate, nukrowave and kettle. YMMV. Four elevators, fast to get to room. Walking to Rosita's and a Kat Kafe, w/ ~10 kettehs.

I rarely take the time to perform reviews, but I was so happy with Plaza Premium Almere that I feel compelled to. The room was large, clean, and overall excellent. It included a mini-kitchen (a kitchenette) which we made use of a couple of evenings. We asked for help from the staff on a couple of occasions, and in both cases they went out of their way to provide us what we requested. The breakfast buffet was always well stocked. About 15 minutes prior to ending, they would stop replenishing some of the food items. The pool is outdoors on an upper floor and was closed (likely for the season?) while we were there. We were visiting Amsterdam, so assuming I'd get a better value for my money out of the city, I chose a hotel close to a train station for easy access into Amsterdam. There are frequent non-stop trains to/from Amsterdam Central Station from Almere The ride would take 20 minutes. And the hotel is directly next to the station. There are a number of restaurants and two supermarkets also just outside the station. I would recommend Plaza Premium Almere for anyone visiting Amsterdam who wants more for their money.
