A OK hotel and could use a bit of TLC overhaul. It’s a sleepy joe town where most retirees find peace and quiet! We loved it but may not be if you are young and looking for fun or party. It’s got everything you need. But beach is not exciting or something I would like to visit. I have seen a way better places than this.

Loved every minute of my stay from check in to check out. It was like stepping back in time to old style Spanish hospitality. Staff addressed us by name from the moment we arrived and couldn’t do enough to help and make us feel welcome. The owner, Mercedes was always on hand and the staff Miguel and Nando remembered the little things, such as what we drank. Rooms spotlessly cleaned every day and the sea view was beautiful.

Mercedes and her husband are the most lovely people I ever meet in my life ❤️they both made me and my husband to feel super welcome and feel like home . They are super sweet and kind. The staff were kind. The hotel was in a beautiful spot and the balcony was nice. The Hotels.com description said parking was available — this was a bit unclear.. Turns out that the available parking was 3 spots out front (not designated for the hotel). We found a public parking garage about 1/2 mile away (wish that we had known ahead of time ). Also Hotels.com stated that this hotel had laundry facilities (which we were counting on). This hotel DOES NOT have laundry facilities. We needed to walk about 30 minutes to find a laundromat. Lastly, we were unable to get a hot shower, the water was tepid, barely warm

We love this hotel! This was our third time at Arrayanes Playa Hotel. The location and beach view is perfect. Being on the edge of town gives greater choices for the beach and is just outside of the paid parking zone. We even played ping pong in the recreation room. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
